“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2013

Very quaint little place but very pleasant....staff warm and friendly...we had breakfast which was tones...excellent value for money...only downside was outside toilets where smelly and had proper towel instead of disposable type.

“Don't waste your money”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2013 via mobile

Staff are away with the fairies and not willing to help. Kids there for the holidays. We had 2 milkshakes and a cappuccino. Milkshakes are neskwik or worse with uht squirty cream and the cappuccino was made with a local supermarket special blend of instant coffee.

Why have a sign that stays please order at the counter to go to the counter and find a sign saying waitress service..... Please please please go somewhere else or get some new staff.

On the plus side quaint setting.

I am a reasonable man with a family....

“Nice lunch shame about the cake”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2013

When visiting broadway we called into hunters tea room, which is small but quaint, they were busy and there was only one table left which we took, the staff were pleasant and helpful. There were three of us we had the mushroom stroganoff, tuna melt panini and cheese on toast all came with salad and crisps apart from the stroganoff all were freshly prepared hot and tasty, then two of us ordered desert, one had bakewell which was dry and not very almondy and too much icing and one had lemon merangue which tasted powdery, this was a shame as the mains were so tasty, we will definitely go back though and give it another go as we enjoyed our main course so mich

“Disgusting Milkshakes and very rude staff”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2013

Stopped off in Broadway having been highly recommended as a destination. Ordered a milkshake and cake at Hunters. It was undrinkable. That is not a milkshake...they need lessons. When we complained the staff member literally walked away as we were talking...how rude can you get. They obviously depend on passing trade who are never returning because no one in their right mind would willingly return here

“Don't bother”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2013

We ordered milk shakes and some cakes which were very expensive. The girl who took our order left any customer service skills she may have had at home as she was almost scowling. The milk shakes, at £2 were milk with flavouring stirred in ( we asked due to the strong preservative taste) and when we complained she simply glared at us.

There are lots of places for a light snack so definitely avoid this one.
