“Best Fish & Chips in the Cotswolds”
Reviewed 13 November 2012

Took my family here for fish and chips - WOW! what a great place - reminded me of Rick Steins in Padstow. It's lovely. a really nice interior, cosy and good wine selection too. I had salt and pepper squid to start...well this was something special - really nice pepper tang to it, with a sweet chilli dipping sauce, very nice. I then I had the cod and chips - beautiful batter - just enough chips. Kids had wholetail scampi which they all loved. Wife had Plaice in breadcrumbs. All good. All washed down with a bottle of House WIne - at a reasonable price. If you want to take the family out here and enjoy a cheaper meal, rather than bringing back a pack of soggy newspaper full of mush, then I would highly recommend this place.Gone our the days of the old way of doing fish and chips! Will be back again and again.

“Excellent Fish and Chips in Broadway”
Reviewed 12 November 2012

At last an eat in or take away fish and chip shop in Broadway!!! Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant is just off the High Street opposite the Broadway Hotel and offers a licensed bar as well as Excellent quality food that is really good value for money.
At £8.95 eat in you get a large piece of fish in a moist batter served with chips, lemon wedge, tartare sauce, parsley and Yorkshire caviar served in a lined re-cycleable cardboard container. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable with friendly service in the small dining area, seating about 25 downstairs and more in an upstairs room (not yet open), The restaurant only opened on 7th November and early demand exceeded supply as take aways were suspended at 7pm due to low stock but all was good again on 8th..
The take away menu offers the same large fish for £5.50 plus £1.90 for a generous portion of chips with salt and vinegar sachets,a wedge of lemon, wooden knife and fork and moist handwipes all in a closed, lined re-cycleable cardboard container.
If first impressions are anything to go by this restaurant will do very well as it fills an gap in the catering market in Broadway and should be very popular with residents and visitors alike.
Definatly a must visit when in our beautifull village.
