Took my family here for fish and chips - WOW! what a great place - reminded me of Rick Steins in Padstow. It's lovely. a really nice interior, cosy and good wine selection too. I had salt and pepper squid to start...well this was something special - really nice pepper tang to it, with a sweet chilli dipping sauce, very nice. I then I had the cod and chips - beautiful batter - just enough chips. Kids had wholetail scampi which they all loved. Wife had Plaice in breadcrumbs. All good. All washed down with a bottle of House WIne - at a reasonable price. If you want to take the family out here and enjoy a cheaper meal, rather than bringing back a pack of soggy newspaper full of mush, then I would highly recommend this place.Gone our the days of the old way of doing fish and chips! Will be back again and again.
