Description: Welcome to Russell’s Fish & Chips. The Crew under the watchfull eye of the Fishy Skipper and the The Admiral of the Fleet have been busy dragging in the nets of fish from the deepest seas. We look forward to seeing lots of new faces and a warm welcome awaits you (and maybe a pirate or two!) We are located just off the main High Street in the centre of Broadway Village. We serve only the finest fish. You can eat in or take away, and we are open for Lunch and Dinner. Chips are twice cooked and all the fish is cooked to order. Gluten free batter and Gluten free breadcrumbed items are always available.

Decided to try the new fish and chip shop in the village and with Russells having a good reputation for their restaurant we expected a decent meal. How badly let down we were, we expected a 10 to 15 minute wait which we were more then happy with. Ordered a couple of glasses of wine whilst waiting, two glasses of warm wine made worse by the hot glasses they were poured into. But didn't say anything as 2 minutes later our fish and chips arrived! Should have realised it was far too quick. Arrived home 2 minutes later & opened the boxes, several black chips were the first thing to note, amazingly enough they were stone cold & stale. The fish was ok but the batter was quite claggy, curry sauce was cold horrible tasting gludge. As the customer I feel they completely fell so far of basic expectations to serve absolute rubbish for that to come from a "professional " kitchen is embarrassing & we shall not return ever. Perhaps those who dine in get the better food & they think they can send rubbish with those who take away. Or maybe they look after their regular restaurant customers better. Either way pull your socks up Russells.

I've eaten here twice since it opened, absolutely loved it both times. Russell’s Fish and Chips has a great buzzing atmosphere and really friendly staff.

The first time for dinner, I had the half pint of prawns to start, followed by Cod and Chips (it would be rude not to!!) and locally made ice cream to finish. The restaurant was packed out and yet we felt completely looked after and could not have asked for better service.

Today we popped in for a girly lunch, again I had the Cod and chips as it was so great the first time, whilst my friend had the healthier grilled plaice option. The staff we really friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The Yorkshire Caviar is delicious too!

l live in Broadway and know all the restaurants really well. This is a little gem and just what the village needed. The restaurant has been refurbished beautifully. Lovely food, sensible prices and the service is excellent.

We were lucky enough to get in on the opening night. Hopes and expectations were high, and they were more than met. We've eaten there twice now, trying different dishes, and have not been disappointed. Service was good too, as is the decor and venue in general. Well worth a visit.

Grey hard fish, glutinous batter, minty mushy peas, forgettable chips and dreadful tartar sauce. A real disappointment.
