“Good but could be better”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

We went to see the house as much as the contents, which was just as well as there isn't much in the contents line yet although we were assured that more exhibits were planned in due course. We had a good and enthusiastic guide who was refreshingly candid about things she didn't know about. The house itself is very interesting and it was fun to mentally unpick all the alterations to it over the years and work out how it has changed. There are lovely gardens behind it which sadly are not part of the deal but all in all Broadway has been gifted a real gem.

“Interesting but not yet value for money”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

The building (which I had known when it was a shop) is a delight and some of the exhibits are of interest. But there are too few of them to make the £6 admission price anything approaching value for money. There is room enough for more, and the Ashmolean should get a wiggle on in displaying more.

“Well worth a visit”

A delight of a small museum, featuring aspect across four centuries. The building itself is a major aspect of the overall interest.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 15 December 2013

Broadway is a very nice place to visit so its great that this museum has opened up as an alternative to the shops, pubs and tea rooms etc. Its lovely to have somewhere a ' bit different' to visit and to be able to see inside one of the old coaching inns/houses. There are not a huge amount of exhibits but what is there is very interesting and there are some lovely paintings. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we will visit again in the future when we are sure more items will be added. If you live in Worcestershire and you have proof of your address, one person in your party will get in free.

“Well worth going to see.”
Reviewed 16 November 2013

The museum is well worth going to see. The building Itself was the best part of the museum. It is an old Tudor house with many character features still in evidence, the small window panes are particularly fascinating. The view across the garden at the back is peaceful. There are not many exhibits yet which allows space to appreciate the internal features; what is there is clearly displayed. The museum has some very good paintings on display, by Sir Alfred Munnings and Anna Louisa Swynnerton. The museum is at the far end of the High Street.
