Lola's cottage is absolutely wonderful. On arrival you immediately feel it is a home from home with a cosy kitchen and lounge with a huge sofa, warm blankets, lovely kitchen with everything you would need and a fantastic en suite bedroom with king size bed. We could not have been happier arriving to find fresh flowers from June in the kitchen and fresh milk in the fridge. A 10 minute walk into the centre of Broadway, on top of everything it's an ideal location!!!
A stunning cottage, lovely owner and fantastic value for money. Thank you.
This was our first visit to the cotswold and Lola's cottage was perfect for the two of us. Down a nice quite lane but a easy 10 minutes stroll into the village. It was lovely and comfortable with a nice comfortable bed. It had everything we need. We were lucky with the weather and made use of being able to sit out on the patio. We met June on arrival who was frindly and welcoming. She was easy to reach if we needed anything but leaves you to get on with your holiday. Broadway is a charming cotswold village there is nothing not to like about it: we had fish and chips sat outside of russells and ate at the swan. It's easy to explore the surrounding areas also. We would definitely stay again should we holiday in the cotswold.
A beautiful cottage, grounds and location, the cottage is first class and has everything you could wish for, fully equipped and spotlessly clean with a bed you could lie on for ages. The cottage is situated down a lane just off the main road which makes the 5 minute walk into the picturesque village of Broadway even more enjoyable it is a true delight. This is a perfect location for peace and tranquillity, relaxing whilst deciding how to explore the fantastic Costwolds. June the owner is first class ready and available if need be for discussion on where to go etc and chat in person or her mobile phone, My wife and I loved that June was there but totally non-intrusive. I would definitely recommend as we are already planning a return visit to the same location, as I said the whole experience was first class.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. It was roomy, quite comfy, fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Contact with the owner was very pleasant and friendly. We would recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a quiet and cosy place to serve as a base for exploring the Cotswolds. It's located on the quiet end of magnificent Broadway. In the village you'll find excellent places to eat. We're enthusiastic about all of the three places we've tried (The Swan, The Broadway Restaurant (indian food) and the Crown & Trumpet). The cross-country AA walk titled "William Morris's Broadway" was a fantastic experience.
Lovely little hide away, cosy, well maintained, lovely location, the village is stunning and the surrounding area is lovely as well. The owner is very nice and polite, would go back again, we are very happy with our choice
Modern amenities with everything you would need or want. Comfy bed and up to date bath. Quiet Lane with a pet pheasant and pastures just a short walk to the Main Road and restaurants and shops. Quiet patio area overlooks a lovely backyard. Charming and funny proprietress.
Broadway is defiinitely how it is described, the jewel in the crown of the Cotswolds. We have never stayed in such a picturesque village. It was the perfect base to get around the Cotswolds. Lola's cottage was the icing on the cake . The cottage is situated in a lane off the main high street and looked out onto open fields with sheep and lambs. We even had had our own slice of garden at the back where we could barbecue weather permitting. June the owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. She is always on hand to give advice on the best places to visit and eat. We felt like we had known her for ever. It was our first visit to the Cotswolds but it will certainly not be the last and will definitely chose Lola's cottage to stay at once again. Marie and John Kay
