“Am Absolutely Amazing Cinema Experience”
Reviewed 6 May 2012

I have not been to the Cinema for around 10 years as I have hated previous experiences... The Regal Cinema in Evesham blew all this away when I visited it last night!
it is an old fashioned layout - with stalls at ground level and dress circle on upper level. The chair layout in the stalls is very clever - 4 extremely comfortable swivel chairs around tables enable you to share a bottle of wine and snacks with friends while watching a film. The chairs all move enabling you to face the front, and there is no issue seeing the screen above heads - the comfort of the chairs allows you to sit back and enjoy.
The Dress Circle on the upper level has double 'love seats' - which are like mini sofas but with modern cinema style seating design built in so you have a high back to rest head and watch in utmost comfort. There is also a 'Royal Box' at the very back of the dress circle which holds 2 people.
We paid £10 each for full price non concession tickets - and they were worth every single penny! we sat in the dress circle at the very front in the centre, and were able to take glasses of wine in with us to watch the film (which was very good - Best Marigold Hotel - worth a watch).
The cinema has a stalls bar, and also a bar for the dress circle - both very tastefully renovated, as was the ground floor cafe.
The toilets were amazing, a little like wondering into a 5 star art deco hotel with a modern twist.
I cannot rate this Cinema highly enough - there is an option to become a 'friend' of the cinema at a current charge of £12.50 per month or £150 per year which I am thinking of doing - it gives you discounts and special offers which I am yet to investigate.
Get there early to enjoy a little explore before your film starts - and also to enjoy a drink and snack in the cafe, or from one of the bars.
I do so hope people give this venue the support it deserves - it is an amazing place and an absolute must for cinema goers (and born again cinema goers like myself!).

“No more multiplexes for me !!”
Reviewed 29 April 2012

This is a beautifully restored art deco cinema with one screen ( they plan to add i think 2 more shortly) If you have ever paid extra for the luxury seats in vue/odeon the seats here are better than those and the leg room is brilliant (i'm 6'2'' and i can't touch the seats infront at full leg stretch !!)
The staff are all nice and friendly and make you feel special
