Family/friends keep coming back to S. C. For their good food, friendly atmosphere, and the cleanliness is second to none.
Wednesday night is the best value in town, (got our table booked for as long as offer on!! )
Take your own booze is great, if you run out, Abdul will sort you out with a drink from Pitza rest. opposite, they also offer a great service. Tables set outside on hot evenings (GREAT)
We have been dining in Malvern on Indian / Bangladeshi for many years and S. C. gets 10/10

I have been using this restaurant for many years with different managers but the quality of the food has always been great.I have had several family celebrations over the years and have always had excellent food and service.I have introduced many friends to the spice cottage and they all use it regularlly. One friend has tried chicken tawa all over the the country and rates this the best,i have tried it and it is a great meal.special deal on a wednesday night even better value. great staff and great food.

Some of the reviews on here have been uncomplimentary to say the least, but I guarantee if you asked any one of the 20+ people here on the Wednesday night buffet you would get glowing testimonials. Five stars on all the categories, and perhaps a six for the food, which was quite superb. The buffet model, in which you can get popadums, starter, main, side dish and rice for £9.99 is amazing value. Yes fish dishes are extra, but what a bargain. And there are no restrictions to your meal choices. Great little place, with ambience and attentive service. And if you come back on the non--buffet nights [which we will do, as this was our first visit], the prices are still excellent. The Vasai is a great restaurant, but I would put this ahead. A wonderful surprise and a great night. If you drink, bring your own, and remember to pay by cash or cheque.

Decided on a delivery on a saturday night. ordered early at 5.45pm (opens at 5.30pm) knowing that a saturday night would be busy.
Arrived after about an hour (told would be 50mins so that was fine) but was a bit disappointed.
Have eaten at the Spice Cottage on several occasions previously, but this time both of us felt that the rice was undercooked and underwhelming, and the chicken in my passanda was very bland compared to usual standards.
Will probably order from here again, but purely as this is only delivery of Indian out to Leigh Sinton!

Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from, we have been coming here for yours (eat in and take away) Food is lovely and staff are very friendly. Prices reasonable. If you have never been here, try it and see for yourself.
