Lovely views from the top of the beacon but oh my god its a bit of a climb lol, it was very windy and a little cold so wrap up warm, as you get higher it gets cooler.

If you want to uplift your spirits this is a really good place to go. It can be something of a challenge but most people can get up there if they take some time. Whichever way you go up there is plenty to see on the way. At the top there is an engraved map on a plinth to help you pick out local landmarks some of which are many miles away. The town of Malvern is not far away.

If you are in the locality come and walk on our wonderful hills. When you get to the top of the Beacon the views are unbeatable.

You can walk for many miles or just a few and you will find that most people will say 'hello' as you pass.

In addition Malvern has many small restaurants and coffee shops selling home made food.

Enjoy

We'd walked over from the British Camp and had stunning views along the way but they really were outstanding from the top of the Worcestershire Beacon. If you look due East from the beacon there is no higher ground than you until you reach the Ural Mountains which is mindboggling!

Definitely worth the trip up, and the route is fairly easy from some of the car parks just off Beacon Road.

Amazing views of Worcestershire - glorious! Worth the steep climb to the beacon. Nothing to dislike.
