Wonderful walking area, not too steep for the beginner or the unfit! Fantastic views. A number of good places for refreshments such as the Malvern Hills Hotel.

I have tried out my two new replacement hips on this great walk from the British Camp to the Worcestershire Beacon.Views that would not disgrace the Alps on a fine day but with the ease suited to all walkers young or old very fit or the gentle plodder. For the first time in many years I was back on the hills again.fantastic! And the Malvern Hills Hotel is a great watering hole.

The Malvern hills are 9 miles long and have views to three counties. On a clear day you can see the Cotswolds. The Beacon is the highest point of the hills and is quite a long walk from the Herefordshire beacon which is at the other end of the hills. Although Malvern means "Bare Hills" there are many wild flowers to be seen and places to park the car at the foot of the hills. I cannot speak highly enough of Malvern or the Hills as I was brought up there and spent many happy days on the hills.

... if you like climbing hills and great views. Then on the descent, call in at St Anne's Well for refreshments.
