A charmingly characterful building overlooking breathtaking countryside, the Farmhouse Cottage at Cowleigh Park Farm does not disappoint. Situated at the northern foot of the Malvern Hills, a mere 20 minutes’ walk away from Malvern Link train station, it is the ideal place for groups seeking to holiday in the fresh air.
Hosts Ruth and Luke, who own the adjoining bed and breakfast, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Generous and accommodating in more ways than one, they even supplied us with a freshly baked loaf on our first evening. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils hungry walkers could possibly require and the sitting room, complete with board games and wood-burning stove, is a pleasant place to spend an evening. The bedrooms boast sizable beds that are both comfortable and clean. Would gladly return.
Good clean well appointed accommodation. Spacious garden with plenty to do or just sit and relax. Views tremoendous. Ideal for walks on hills and visiting Melvern and events such as christian camps at the show ground.
we would come again.
Family of 7 stayed here for 3 nights for a wedding nearby. The cottage was better than expected...the photos don't do it justice. Very comfortable beds, lovely well equipped kitchen, the gardens were beautiful, lots of seating areas to choose from. Ruth was very helpful and even baked us a fresh loaf, along with homemade jam. Would definitely go again!
A fabulous cottage in a lovely setting, very comfortable and cosy. Lovely log fire, comfy beds, freshly baked bread on our arrival.
It was lovely to be able to walk from the house, through the grounds, past the orchards onto the Worcestershire Way.
The cottage was in an ideal location for our reunion, along with 2 dogs.
I chose Farm Cottage purely because of its proximity to the site where my nephew was getting married. I had read reviews and expected to find a comfortable cottage. As it happened others in the family were looking for a place so we booked B and B next door as well as The Cider Press. Both cottages were well equipped and beautifully positioned with outdoor seating and glorious views. Family in B and B enjoyed excellent breakfasts and I was hugely congratulated on my choice : by slightly more luck than judgement we had struck gold. Ruth is warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. At the last minute we were asked to have my eighteen month old granddaughter for one night. Ruth quickly produced a high chair and cot. We shall return to further explore this delightful area.
We had a lovely time with family and friends. Ruth and Lucas were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much bother. We were really lucky with the weather and managed to spend a lot of time outside in the wonderful garden and on the patio area in the evening.
The cottage is spacious and comfortable and was a real find - as there were 6 of us and 3 dogs. Great walks right on the doorstep to.
