The hospitality in this pub is excellent. Martin the landlord is extremely friendly and welcoming and his knowledge of ales is first class. The room is not first class (shower needs upgrading) but bed is very comfy and value for money is very good indeed. If you are looking for a proper pub (open fire, superbly kept beer with Landlord on tap, friendly regulars) then this is the place. We only had a continental breakfast so can't comment on the food but judging solely by the bread (and the cheese from the previous evening) I suspect it is very good. Recommended.

Thank you so much for your feedback. That tip about the shower was extremely helpful. The shower head has been upgraded to one designed to give a more invigorating wash.
Regarding the beers, we seem to be experiencing another surge of customers who seek places to stay where they can enjoy a quality drink of proper British beers aswell as, of course, real food - reflecting guests who don't just want the functionality of the heavily advertised, nation-wide bedroom chains. I very much look forward to welcoming you back to the Inn in the near future.

I recently stayed here for one night and had the twin room, like I said its a real olde worlde pub.. the beds were great and had a good sleep until 5:30am when the sound of traffic syphons through then you can't get back to sleep. Martin is a bit of card really and makes a strong effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. One thing did let me down though was the wi fi its, security passworded and as a guest there's usually the password in the room, not this time though... otherwise there is no signal or if when there is it cuts out pronto.. a pleasant stay indeed.

Room Tip: Take the back room if possible!

Thank you very much for this review. Good news ! There is now a notice in each bedroom informing guests of the free wi-fi service and corresponding code. In addition, the router has had a booster fitted which allows customers a stronger signal indoors as well as in the garden.

Very welcoming ,our room was in the top and had sloping ceilings which was very low but for us it gave more character.Would reccomend for a romantic getaway. Food in the restaurant was piping hot and absoloutley delicious. Our very fussy daughter met us for dinner and had steak, she said it was so tasty and tender. The fire was a welcome as we had been out walking all day and were quite wet and cold. The locals were very friendly and chatted away to our daughter about Malvern.Could choose what time we wanted our breakfast which was great no rigid times.
Would highly reccomend this to anyone wanting a friendly quaint place to stay while visiting Malvern.

Room Tip: Top room if you want a quaint romantic room.
