Vwry friendly, pleasent young lady that cant do enough for you. The room was spacious, clean, lovely and great value for money. Although on main road was pretty quiet, it is walking distance to the town, bus station and train station, pubs and resturants. I would stay here everytime and have recommended it. Thank you

Very friendly owner who gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful when we enquired about places to eat. We went with a couple of friends and had booked two rooms. We had walked the Birmingham to Worcester Canal and needed some comfortable clean accomodation with good food and a nice bed. Both of the rooms were very tired and jaded, needed refurbishment and a good clean. It depends on what you are looking for. We didn't find it relaxing. Low energy lighbulbs and not enough of them (one in the ceiling with two bedside lamps) made our room dark. The ensuite was carpeted and smelt damp, which together with an old pink suite and grubby edges around the shower felt uncomfortable . There was nowhere to dry wet towels. The hose on the wall mounted hair dryer had completely perished. There were hairs on the bed, which was lumpy and anybody coming in later and talking in the hallway could easily be heard so you need to be a strong sleeper. Paintwork around the skirtings didn't feel clean and paper was starting to come unstuck in the room. If you can be okay with the jaded feel on the up side there are tea making facilities in the room and the biscuits were nice to have. Toiletries were provided. Our table wasn't laid when we arrived at the time agreed for breakfast and whilst the full english breakfast looked appetising it arrived cold. Some of the china on the table was chipped. Next time we would pay more for what appears to be better accommodation closer to the centre. We wouldn't recommend and wouldn't stay again.

Room Tip: The guest house is on a busy main road and we asked for quiet rooms. We couldn't hear the road...

4 of us stayed here for the races and found the owners to be really helpful, the rooms spotless and not to bad in size and the brekkie was really good and as its only a few minutes into town it wasnt to bad a walk. Overall it was a nice place at a reasonable cost, our new place to stay for the races!

A very good stay. This was my second option as I would normal stay at the Travelodge as it's cheaper, but as it was Valentines Week, it was more expensive so I found this place.
The people were friendly, breakfast was nice (but would had like more cereal choices), free Wi-Fi in room and nicely decorated and comfortable bed. Felt like it was home! Provided shampoos, and drinks and even biscuits! :D Also I had a room with a double and single bed for myself!
The negatives is it's a bit dated; carpet and bathroom. Could do with modernisation, but if they was to stick with the traditional look, could just change to simple carpets, bathroom things and walls.
Oh and they don't have any parking. You can park at the front, but that's only after 6 I think till the morning at 8 or something so I had to park on the next street.
Finally they need a card machine. I didn't have that much cash on me, so resulted in driving down the road at night to go to a cash point.

Overall was a pleasant stay :D

I have stayed in a couple of b&b's along this stretch and by far this is the better one. The owners are lovely, the house and the room were spotless and the breakfast was divine! I would definitely recommend the shrubbery to anyone and I will be back to stay again when I'm in the area!

Very clean room but quite dated with carpet in the bathroom. Tea making facilities with nice biscuits.
On main road into Worcester. Having said that the road noise wasn't noticeable. About a 10 minute walk into the town centre.
Probably in the more downmarket end of Worcester- but we were looking for a good value place to stay.
Excellent breakfast- full English.
Plenty of on street parking nearby.
Overall very good value- considering £25 each for a twin room.

Enjoyed my stay here. The couple who run it are really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic!
