Was meeting friends here, as we used to years ago on nights out so was a bit of a nostalgia stay for me. Not a lot went right the night we stayed. The TV's were off in all rooms and I could only get the free wifi in the lobby which was a bit inconvenient.
We did get 50% off the evening meal which was decent but this was spoiled by having to stare at 2 buckets of something! and a dangerous surface warning sign directly in front of our table. We also ordered the Pouilly Fume wine which at 23 quid wasn't cheap and had a warm bottle presented to us. Waiter said that they didn't have a cold one as they didn't sell that bottle very often and put it in a ice bucket...nice gesture I suppose but it didn't exactly go great with dinner...probably just let the customer know it's not cold before opening it.
Breakfast was fairly nice the next day though. Overall very Dissapointed.More
