This museum is a delight if pottery is your thing. It took us nearly 3 hours to complete. The audio tour is a must. Cabinets full of the most exquisite china detailing the history of porcelain and bone china manufacturing in Worcester.
The vintage pieces for sale are stunning. You couldn't leave without a piece of vintage china. Well worth a visit.

This is a lovely museum. You start in the gift shop (Second Hands) and go through the Georgian collection and up lifts and stairs to the Victorian Gallery and then down again to the Gift Shop. Went on a Thursday morning - perhaps 12 people there. Got a free audio set for our £5.00 entrance fee. Display cases are packed with items - ordinary and 'show' items. Beautiful and clearly displayed and covering everyday items as well as Royal commission pieces. Good interpretative material. Good audio descriptions. Cases are from different eras showing changing tastes and skills.
This is a display museum so you get limited information on the people who worked there.
Museum is decorated well and clean, fully accessible for those with mobility issues - there is a film showing and a tutorial area. Not sure children would get a lot from it. Limited interactive areas.
Well worth a couple of hours of your time if you are interested in pottery.

Quite interesting, but not totally captivating. Spent a pleasant hour there though and purchased something nice to remember it by.

Well worth visiting if you have an interest in viewing pottery and ceramics. I would like to have seen a live display of one of the processes such as painting. Disappointing there is no refreshment facility for the casual visitor.

For the admission you get an audio tour thrown in. Allow at least an hour and a half for your visit - the largest collection of Worcester anywhere, from the earliest pieces to the present day. Great shop with large selection of Worcester porcelain (including antique pieces) as well as books. A great morning out.
