My self and partner stayed at the hotel for one night in Jul 10.

Good sized room, comfortable bed, clean well equipped bathroom. My only grumble with the bathroom was the shower, it was a power shower with a head that was not adjustable at all, it sprayed outside the bath and onto the floor and it you wanted a shower without getting your hair wet - forget it!!
The rooms was lovely but it was a hot night so the window was open. It was so noisy it was difficult to sleep. There was a wedding reception going on but you could hear every word of every song at the disco. Good quality air conditioning would allow you to close the window and have a much more restful nights sleep! It was a surprise that in a 4 star hotel there was no air-con in the room.

Free parking was good but availability is apparently hit and miss, you need to bear this in mind, get there early and get a space.

Nice breakfast, no real complaints there.

I would stay again but would ask for the highest floor possible to get away from the noise.

Great location, ideal for shops and restaurants.

Stopped here for a Sarurday night in June. Allocated Room 111 at the rear of the old block. Poor natural light but lots of space, being a room designed with disabilities in mind. A bit noisy due to the drone of ventilation outside the window. However this was not heard over the TV and did not interrupt my sleep. The TV has all of the Freeview channels and excellent picture quality. Breakfast was excellent.

Stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding and didn't sleep a wink all night! Room was 1 meter away from the vent for the hotels air conditioning and was to quote the receptioist "really very loud". To add insult to injury, our rooms air conditioning did not work and to quote the receptionist for a second time "it really wasn't my night!" They did offer us another room, that had not been cleaned- so it was a choice between dirty room or hot and noisy room! Whilst i could appreciate that these were isolated incidents in an otherwise good hotel- the attitude of the staff, especially the deputy manager was really not acceptable. I recieved no apology because apparently these incidents were 'outside his control'. He was in fact obnoxious and downright rude! This room should not be sold to anyone without fair warning about the noise and would only ever be acceptable at a discounted rate. Also parking is impossible if the hotel is hosting a wedding and the nearest car park could set you back £25- so bear this in mind if you go there on a weekend.

I thought this hotel was ok - it was clean, basic and central. Worcester itself is somewhat lacking as a tourist destination! The downside was that I hardly slept a wink. Whoever was in the room above me appeared to spend ALL night pacing up and down for some reason (I went to bed at 1 and they were doing it nonstop til 3, then restarted at 5!), and I could hear every footstep. Strangely, it only appeared to be the ceiling sound insulation which was a problem - road noise, neighbouring rooms and people in the corridor could not be heard.

On arrival thought uh-oh, on main road, but went inside and what a lovely reception area, light and airy with a stunning staircase through the centre of the hotel. Free Parking.
Our room was in the 'old' part of the hotel (I like this type of room) and it retained some of the original features, overlooked the main street but no matter ,as we had a very restful night's sleep.
Room service was used in the evening and the meal arrived promptly.
Although we did not use the leisure facilities we looked in and they were more than adequate for a 'weekender'.
Breakfast was taken late but the food was still fresh, not tired.
We spent the morning in Worcester and then it was just a short drive to Malvern for a brisk walk up to the Worcester Beacon on the Malvern Hills for a wonderful 360 degree view.
Without hesitation I would recommend this hotel to the reader of this review.

Best thing about this place is location and car parking. Service is okay and rooms/facilities are what you would expect from a typical business hotel. We stayed here fora friends hen night because it was handy for restaurants and bars. Could have been any hotel in any town. Would recommend going out for food/drink as the restaurant is a bit of a corridor and food choice a bit odd. There are plenty of decent restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was poor.
Rooms were clean and reasonably quiet for being in the town centre.

Very good value for money. I had to call reception at 3 .30 am as the bathroom door had locked and could not be opened. They arrived very promptly and were courteous and yes, did manage to open the door. Annoying that it had locked itself in the first place but happy it was dealt with in a timely manner. Free parking in the middle of Worcester a bonus. Restaurant staff excellent too. I asked for porridge and a kipper; each arrived promptly and well cooked . I will use this hotel again.
