My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights (Friday and Saturday) and we really loved how close it is to the city centre. We got up early and had a walk along the river before heading into town, later in the afternoon it started to rain so we headed back to our room. We turned the TV on (flat screen and has freeview) but the remote didn't work, the member of staff at reception was happy to sort this out for us by supplying us with a different remote control. When the rain stopped we headed back into town/the city for dinner.

Our room had a double bed and two single beds though we were unsure as to why we had the extra beds. The room over looked the cricket pitch which was a lovely view, and beyond the cricket pitch in the distance there are some hills which was an even bigger bonus. The room had aircon which was good for when it was a little chilly at night. The bathroom was lovely and clean, as was the floor and the bed sheets.

The only let down of this hotel is that it cost £5.50 for 24 hours and having stayed for two nights it cost £11 in total. Though I had been worried that there wasn't going to be a space by the time we got there Friday night as their website stated that parking is limited, but the car park is a very reasonable size and I found a space with no problem.

Overall we were very happy with our room, the hotel, the staff and location.

PS - Premier inn offer an online checking in system so we done this the day before our stay and it made the arrival very easy and hassle free.

We stayed as a large group which had been booked well in advance. We arrived and then spent over 30 minutes checking in!!! However the hotel itself is great. Nice clean facilities and friendly staff. Shame the admin was so bad as it really let them down. If you're thinking of a group booking really make sure they understand your requirements.

Had an excellent nights sleep here with the family in a room over looking the cricket pitch. Good quality breakfast and very helpful staff.

Plenty of car park space although it is (reasonably priced) pay and display. The access card security on the lift is good.

Had a wonderful time staying at this hotel, the service was excellent...well worth the money.
The breakfast and dinner was very good.
A very good hotel for families, the children enjoyed the experience of staying in the hotel as well.

Can't really fault the Premier Inn as a hotel. It was easy to book, easy to check in. The room was comfortable if a little warm. The room had most things you might need apart from a small cellophane wrapped packet of biscuits with the instant coffee and no electric shaver point. Breakfast was fine, with Costa coffee and free refills. A shame that there isn't free parking, but it is a City centre hotel and there is a car park, so not bad. Good location close to the centre, with views over the cricket ground and nice walks along the River Severn.
