“Girls weekend”
Reviewed 10 April 2016 for a stay in May 2015

Myself and 2 girlfriends stayed at Diglis Lock cottage last May for a girls weekend break and I cannot recommend it enough. The owner was very lovely and welcoming and left us more than enough food for a cooked breakfast. The house was more than well equipped and it was a real 'home from home'. We were lucky enough to have sunshine over the weekend and it was lovely sitting outside the cottage watching the world go by. it was a short walk into Worcester centre where there is a multitude of shops and restaurants. We also took a drive up to Great Malvern then did the Malvern hills walk. It was exhausting but and absolute must! I would certainly book again and would recommend to friends and family without reservation.

“All Home Comforts Provided”
Reviewed 3 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Situated on Diglis Island, with the river on one side and the locks on the other, the cottage is the end one of three. With a small garden at both front and back, it has 3 bedrooms upstairs and a kitchen/dining room, TV lounge and bathroom downstairs. All necessary items were provided and Noel even supplied us with food essentials (e.g. milk, bread etc.) The property was clean and well kept.
The cottage is situated around 15-20 mins walk from the city centre and is in an ideal location to explore the surrounding area. We visited Hereford Cathedral, the Malvern Hills, Stratford and walked on the Severn Way down to Upton-upon-Severn.

“Unique and Comfortable Place to Stay in Worcester”
Reviewed 18 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

The cottage is on an island, and guests walk across two locks to get to it. The lock-keeper, incidentally, is a gem. The view up the Severn to Worcester Cathedral is perfect. The cottage is very nicely maintained and decorated, with amenities such as bicycles and an outdoor dining area. Everything is in place for your holiday. Town is a 15 minute walk away, and a very pleasant town it is too. The host responds quickly to any questions, and the two neighbors are helpful as well.

We didn't have a car, so we loaded up on groceries in town and caught a cab back. We took a very informative walking tour of Worcester with a Green Badge guide, and got over to Great Malvern for some walking as well. We loved seeing more of England than just London.

“Excellent”
Reviewed 6 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Lovely place about a 10 minute jog into the town centre (only about 5 mins on the bike that Noel leaves you!). Relaxed, quiet and so well stocked it's untrue. Just a completely lovely, excellent place. Thanks Noel.

“A truly fabulous place to stay with so much to do nearby”

We (adult couple with one 19 year old daughter, 17 year old son and 7 year old son) loved it here from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself is gorgeous and in such a great location on Diglis Island. Within 1 mile there is the town of Worcester full of bars and restaurants. The beautiful new Diglis bridge is just 100 yards away and a lovely wier just beyond. The cottage is brilliantly setup with very high quality brown and white goods - it's a true home from home. A brilliant garden area at the back features decent furniture and a large BBQ, fully supplied with coals etc. There are all sorts of indoor and outdoor games supplied along with two adult bikes and a child's bike. All in all, unfaultable. Thank you!
