We called in for lunch before a trip to the cinema. We had time constraints so went in with a "this will do" kind of attitude. First impressions were excellent, thanks to the front of house staff, who quickly showed us to a table and explained the buffet options. There was a great selection of choices, including a grill and chinese station where your chosen dish was prepared fresh in front of you. They also made fresh nan bread to order too. We still thought it would be a typical buffet, which was convenient but not all that tasty. Boy were we wrong! Between us, we tried chicken tikka, lamb kofta, onion bargey, yoghurt sauce, lamb rogan josh, chicken madrass, pilau rice, beef steak, popadoms, lamb chops, peri peri chicken, garlic nann......and it was ALL excellent, tasty, authentic, fresh and well cooked. The madras was authentic, as was the curried goat, meaning it was cooked on the bone as it should be. We didnt really bother with the desserts, but there were a few different options, including a chocolate fountain. The price was really reasonable and we will definitly return. This place has changed our opinions on buffet restaurants. This one is definitly not a run of the mill buffet. Give it a go!
