Fantastic stay in Aberystwyth

I stayed at YR Hafod for two nights and it was absolutely lovely. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The owner, John, was friendly, funny, and very welcoming - a truly wonderful host. The breakfast was also delicious! If I ever have the good fortune to come back to Aberystwyth, I would look forward to staying here again.

Wonderful place to stay

My son and I spent one night here in June.
The room was spotless and the bathroom quite luxurious. The beds were really comfortable and we both slept well. Nice lined curtains keep the room dark so we won't woken by early morning bright light.
Yr Hafod is in an excellent location, on the sea front and next to the castle.
There was a huge breakfast which I couldn't manage after a large meal the.night before. I would have liked some fruit.I
Yr Hafod is a lovely place to stay and very good value.
We had lots of complimentary tea, coffee and got chocolate, nice biscuits and chocolates in our room.
The furniture is good and obviously excellent quality.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Perfect 🤩!

A great stay, made very welcome by John who welcomed our daughter to join us for a delicious breakfast. Room spotlessly clean and bed really comfortable. Easy parking, and views of dolphins! We will be back!

Absolutely Perfect

John was great and very friendly, rooms very modern and clean.

Breakfast was perfect..... just everything was perfect.

Managed to park outside door which was ideal, paid parking was available just about 100m away if we had needed it.

Lovely view of the sea.

Can't wait to visit again.

Great Trip to Aberystwyth

Hafod Guest House was the perfect base for my trip to Aberystwyth, superb location in the historic part of town, castle and harbour literary round the corner. John is a terrific very friendly host, always ready to help and advise. The whole property is immaculate and the bed very comfortable. Had a cracking breakfast and all in all couldn't recommend it more highly.
