Took the children round the castle after visiting the play park. They actually enjoyed it more than the play park, finding hiding places and climbing the ruins to have photographs! The views are fantastic and worth taking a picnic up there on a nice day.
The place is so cleanly kept. I'm glad to see after my last visit years ago that they have locked the one tower... A place the homeless took a liking to and had an aroma of urine.
Nice to know you can visit and wonder around for free as most places these days have an entry fee.
