It took 40 minutes to deliver 2 meals .. I panini and 1 goats cheese on toast, and this only after a polite enquiry if it was on its way. The restaurant was not busy and was well staffed it just appeared they were more interested in other tasks such as bringing out clean glasses from the kitchen.
When the meals did arrive which incidentally they did immediately after the enquiry, they appeared to have been hanging around somewhere, another tables meals appeared immediately too as if this sudden prompt had reminded the waitress to look.
The goats cheese with beet root on toast was "interesting" as I for some reason had expected fresh beetroot (never assume) it was pickled so the vinegar which had soaked into the bread was unexpected, not in a good way.
The panini though was good so from a food front it was a 50/50 , drinks fine. I have to say the previous reviews for this place were good so we must have just struck it unlucky. We are not picky diners as a rule.
