“Wonderful welcome...”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

We met our friends (locals from Aberaeron) here for Sunday lunch when we travelled from Birmingham. They'd been several times before and had said how good everything was.
The welcome was warm, table found and drinks ordered quickly. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful, bringing a dish of nachos/dip to nibble on whilst waiting for our mains. The team work demonstrated was excellent.
We had Sunday lunches which were delicious and great value for money, still under ten pounds with a dessert, which also were excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing, music playing but not blaring out so that we were actually able to talk with one another.
Will definitely go again when visiting but I also hope we can find one nearer us.
Big thumbs up!

stayed here for one night in July 2013, had a friendly check in guy and a ground floor room
room was clean, well equipped and comfy bed, would have appreciated some bathroom toiletries
breakfast included at pub next door - quick, hot, tasty
5 mins walk from station, but no sea view!

We have just finished an excellent breakfast and are ready to check out, it has been a pleasure stopping at this establishment and I would highly recommend anyone in the area looking for accommodation to give it a try.
We spent two nights here and had a meal in the adjoining pub we had an excellent meal.
Overall a friendly atmosphere and a great stay.
This is a new accommodation and everything is clean, just hope the standards are kept up.

This was my first experience of the Marston's Inn chain and after staying there I will gladly give the other hotels in this chain a try.

It is a newly built hotel which is separate from the main pub / restaurant building. It was a calm place to stay where we had a good night's sleep with no disturbances. The location is good with plenty of free parking spaces and the town centre and station just a short walk away.

As we stayed in the middle of a heatwave we really appreciated the air conditioning. It was also possible to open the window if we had wanted to. The room was clean and small touches such as free WiFi, bottles of water and breakfast included in the reasonable price added to the good feelings we had about the stay.

Check-in takes place at the pub where we also had dinner which was OK, good "pub food" served by friendly staff. As hotel guests we also got a discount on our meal which was a welcome surprise (not sure if that is a permanent offer).

My one disappointment was the breakfast, its probably fine if you like a cooked breakfast but the continental selection was extremely limited and it would have been easier if I could toast my own bread rather than have to order it.

Excellent food with realy good service from friendly staff in a very relaxed atmosphere.Makes it a good place to go for lunch. This is my 3rd visit and will definately be going again. A nice place to go when shopping in Aberystwyth so we dont have to cook in the evening

Modern and clean room with really comfortable bed probably along the lines if a Premier Inn hotel. Food was good for both evening meal and breakfast. Only downside was the street light right outside the window but I woukd stay here again happily.
