Popped in here for a lunch the sign outside advertises very cheap food. I should have known better you get what you pay for. The pub I guess caters for the student out drinking on an evening or stag parties, indeed a stag party came in whilst we were there. Another indicator that it wouldnt be a good pub for food. The tables were sticky and the upholstery on the seats was very dirty and very stained.
The female behind the bar was friendly enough and the place is light and airy but dirty. The toilets were upstairs and my partner came back down having not used them as they like something out of trainspotting.
The food my burger was okay but the chips were tired and looked they had been lying around for a week and there were not many of them. They were obviously the value type chips from the cheapest wholesaler. My partners noodles had some gelatine type substance in them and also a short dark hair. This was pointed out to the manager and he went to consult the chef, he came back to inform us that the noodles were packed in the substance and he didnt mention the hair. He did however apologise and offer us free coffees. We at this time just left, do yourself a favour do not eat here ever.
