“Excellent scons!”

Me and the wife took a stroll along this pier while up in north wales. The scon was too die for! Also took extra 2 back to the hotel with me, that's how nice they were :)

“Peaceful and tranquil but friendly”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

A lovely visit, the best place for some reflection as you watch the Menai Straights flow by.. Once you have found your inner self, pop over to the little kiosk on the left that sells the best tasting mocha and so reasonably priced. Then once you have had your caffeine fix for the friendly gent who owns the kiosk, make your way to the edge and do a spot of crabbing whilst you while away the hours. My sons love crabbing. And work up an appetite for a delicious ice cream from the afore mentioned kiosk. And time for parents to refuel on caffeine and a homemade rock cake....very yummy and again the prices won't break your budget or bank.

“Surprising find with great burgers!”
Reviewed 16 August 2014 via mobile

After a long ride we happened across Bangor Pier- well worth a visit - we only got as far as 'The Whistlestop Café ' half way down on the right where the team helped us enjoy delicious burgers and a cup of tea!! Amazing - well worth a visit :)

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

We absolutely love this pier which is hidden away in Bangor but it well worth finding.

Its a beautiful Victorian pier which as retained all its original charm, you won't find any fun fairs or fruit machines here but you will find fabulous views of Anglesey and the coastline and plenty of fresh air. The piers lovely just to walk to the end and stop for scone and a cup of tea at the end for your efforts, but if your kids need entertainment then buy a line and a bucket from one of the kiosks and they will have hours of fun crabbing for just a few pounds or just watch the boats go buy while eating an ice cream. There's also a play park for your little ones near the car park..

“Beautiful old victorian Pier”

Incredible that this is still standing, needs a little more looking after but apart from that very nice being there for two or three hours.
