had I not checked the change I was given when I paid I would have been out of pocket.
Also, I would have liked an itemised bill from the till rather than a total figure done on a calculator. Food very expensive for what it was.

As we are local we use this lovely friendly coffee and food stop on a regular basis. Yesterday we decided to have lunch while we were out shopping. My Husband had as he said one of the nicest gammon steak that he ever had, I had the homemade quiche and it was very tasty. We would like to say that the owner and his staff are always so friendly and helpful. Considering the size of the premises the food (which is mostly homemade) is to a very hi standard, we have nothing but praise for this establishment. Thank you all

I came to this cafe with a friend and had great time. We had a starter and a pizza. After the starter we realized how greedy we had been so asked the chef if he could make the pizza late so we could digest our food. He happily agreed. The food was fantastic and tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. They serve alcoholic drinks as well as soft drinks and has a great family atmosphere. I saw a couple of fussy children and the chef happily changed the menu to suit their needs. Had a brill time and enjoyed the pudding of ice cream 6% less fat than normal perfect for a guilt free dessert :) cant wait to enjoy again

My family and I called in for what we hoped to be a quick lunch before we hit the shops however this wasn't to be.
Fancying a pizza I ordered a cheese and tomato one only to be told there would be a wait as they were out of dough so I changed my mind as time was an issue.
After ordering sandwiches and panini's we watched the minutes tick by, trying our best to settle our hungry one year old.
Drinks turned up around 15 minutes after we ordered and were served by our very appologetic and stressed waitress. She then hurried away to attempt to serve other fractious customers who had been waiting some time for their food. We should have walked out then!
An hour and 15 minutes after we placed our order, our food finally showed up and whilst most of it was fine, one sandwich was stale and the salad with it soggy.
We finished and paid and when we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the woman behind the till she clearly couldn't have cared less.
Avoid.
