Woke up on a sunny morning and decided on a last minute trip to North Wales, found Plas Tirion on Trip Advisor and booked online. What a find! The room was spotless and our hospitality tray included freshly home-made biscuits. After a beautiful day on Anglesey we were greeted on our return with a huge cafetiere of freshly brewed coffee and two big home-made brownies delivered to our room! Good night's sleep in a very comfy bed and nice breakfast with plentiful coffee and toast rounded off a very pleasant stay.

I used this B+B on a recent cycling trip.
The rooms we booked were large modern , very clean and decorated to a high standard.
The welcome we received was fantastic -we were offered home made cakes and cold drinks.
The breakfast was of an equally high standard. I hope that this business brings the owners the rewards that they deserve.

Once found, we were greeted by the owner who showed us our room, offered drink and cake and had lots of tips about what to do in the area.

The rooms and bathrooms are brand new and very modern (could easily compete with some higher class city hotels).

Breakfast is you typical English breakfast, you can mix and match what you like. Accompanying this are some delicious self-made jams and conserves.

Easily reachable by car (perhaps it could have a bigger board in front of the house), area is quiet and beautiful to walk around in. Overall, great experience, if ever in north wales again, I would love to come back!

Smashing place. Down from York for some serious walking with a couple of mates who for reasons best known to themselves chose to camp...preferring my comforts I elected to stay at the Plas Tirion. Which turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. Friendly hosts, quiet, immaculate, comfortable, a total delight and over the road just happens to be a pub serving some very well kept beer. What more would you ever want? If you're in the area, this is the one.
Cheers Michelle!

We liked what the website offered so we booked. Within minutes Michelle was checking our dietary requirements and offering to book us a table at the pub across the road for evening meal. On arrival the sign outside said 'affordable luxury'. What it didn't say was that this was an absolute gem. The little extras, the additional surprises all added to our initial impressions. Michelle and Harry give very personal attention to their guests and their needs. Plas Tirion is a total delight

Room Tip: All the rooms are of a very high standard From the website we picked Room 2 and were delighted.

Just had a fabulous stay at this wonderful B and B.
The hosts, Michelle and Harry were wonderful, serving up a great breakfast. Nothing was too much for them. They also had some great information on walks and cycle rides.
The rooms were of the highest standard, large and with a really comfortable bed! Someone has obviously gone to a lot of trouble regarding the décor (I suspect Michelle)!
Opposite the B and B is a quaint pub that serves good food and a lovely pint.
Location is perfect for walking and travelling around Snowdonia.
We have booked again for August and are really looking forward to it.

Good Points: Clean. Fresh. Modern rooms. Easy to find. Superb hosts. Great Breakfast.
Bad Points: None!

What a great find! The B&B was recently refurbished to a high standard. The hosts are very nice people. There is a good pub 20 yards away from the B&B that serves typical pub food at good prices.

If in the area I would 100% stay again

Room Tip: Room 5 is superb!
