First time at a Premier Inn but will definitely be staying again....excellent location for sightseeing in Caernarfon town. The staff were very friendly, the service in the restaurant was good and the rooms were modern and very clean. Free parking is available nearby. No mobile reception or 3G in the hotel (o2)...may be available with other providers? Free wifi for 30 minutes a day (£3 for 24 hours).

Room Tip: 104 was a large room looking into a very small well area.....very comfortable room.

Pleasantly surprised by its quality and locatiion. Being a low budget hotel I was surprised by the clean and renewed rooms of this Premier Inn hotel. We had a family room with enough space to be confortable. Hotel is at walking distance from all Caernarfon city center landmarks. Pretty city I didn't know and I strongly recommend to visit if you have the chance. There is free parking in a 2 minutes walk. The only downside I would put is that wifi is free just for 30 minutes.

Modern Premier Inn close to restaurants, shops, station and castle in Caernarfon. Friendly staff at reception and in adjacent Table Table restaurant. Breakfast delicious. Clean and comfortable rooms and hotel.

Room Tip: Looked onto a courtyard with no view which was a shame. Maybe ask for a view when booking. Difficu...

I stayed at this hotel for three nights with my wife and two children (ages 4 and 2). We had a family room (number 208), which was easily big enough for us, very comfortable, clean, and quiet at night. The hotel staff were great with the children and the service was generally excellent. The hotel location was ideal for us, on the edge of Caernarvon beside the marina, easily accessible by car, and yet just a 5 minute walk to the historic walled town centre with the castle, pubs and restuarants etc. There is also a Morrisons and an ASDA within 5 minutes walk of the hotel if you need to buy any provisions. We were very impressed with Caernarfon, it has a lot going for it and all packed in to a small area.

We had breakfast at the Table Table restaurant next door to the Premier Inn. This was very nice with buffet style grilled and fried food (sausages, bacon, hash browns, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, tomatoes etc), lots of diced up fruit (grapefruit, summer berries, fresh fruit salad etc), yoghurts, breads, croissants, tea and coffee etc. We had dinner in the walled town centre, at the Black Boy Inn pub and a Pizza restaurant near to it on consecutive nights; both were excellent.

The only problem for us was the drop off and departure. The free car park is around 200 metres up from the hotel - directly outside the hotel there are only parking spaces for people with disabled badges. We ended up unloading the car and re-loading it with our baggage while parked on double yellow lines at a bus stop outside the hotel. This is not ideal, but still better than carrying all the bags for 200 metres from the free car park while trying to simultaneously look after two small children. The only alternative is a pay and display car park that is located around 50-100 metres from the hotel, so a bit nearer - I guess it depends on how many bags you have and how heavy they are. It would help if the hotel could have a legitimate set down/pick up area directly outside the hotel, with maximum length of stay of say 5 minutes or 10 minutes.
Otherwise our stay was perfect.

Staff were very friendly throughout the whole of our stay. Excellent location, hadn't realised how close the castle was when I booked. Room was comfortable, more natural light could have been let in if you could actually see out of the very dirty window! We had no mobile phone signal during the stay so recommend topping up with wifi. Would stay again if in the area.

Great hotel nice and modern! Perfect location with morrisons right around the corner it's so convenient to buy anything you need.
Breakfast served is normal but in a nice restaurant located right next to the hotel. Nice and friendly staff as expected with anything required just a call away.
I've stayed at many premier inns but this one is nice and modern with everything you need plus the extra bonus of being located in such a central place is very good!
