I stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend in early January. We were greeted with a warm welcome and showen to our room which was on the top floor. It was a large room and had a spa bath (very good after our walk up Mount Snowdon). We couldn't fault the room on cleanliness or comfort. The breafast choice was large and the quality was excellent. The information folder that was in our room was very useful and comprehensive. I thought parking might be an problem as the B&B doesn't have private parking. However Jan provided us with a map of where we could park for free which was very useful and all parking was close by.
All in all we were very impressed and everything we could have wanted and more had been thought of.

We spent one night here on a quick tour of Northern Wales. This B&B is a couple blocks from the castle and just inside the city walls. Street parking is a bit tight be we got a space quite close. Friendly hosts and good breakfast. Ate very good dinner at Black Boy pub/restaurant a couple blocks away. It was jammed but friendly people made room for us in the pub while we waited for a table in the restaurant, drank our beers, and learned about life in Wales. The castle tour is well worth a couple of hours and the beautiful countryside in Snowdonia is worth a day or more. Check out the slate mining museum.

This B&B is easy to find, within the walls of Caernarfon & very short walk to the sea, shops & pubs/restaurants. Our room was spacious. The bathroom is very modern. I wouldn't be put off by the people who say the bathrooms are small. If you can shower & come out of the bathroom to dress, you'll be fine. Worked out great for this married couple. In fact, it was nice to have the sink out of the WC so I could be doing my makeup, etc. while hubby showered. Breakfast choices were large & unlimited, cooked to order. I highly recommend staying here as it was nice & no surprises!

We stayed here for 1 night on 13/10/10. In spite a bit of renovation work going on, we had a wonderful stay. We wanted bike storage, which they had. We were put in a front upper room which was magnificient. It was very large and warm. After a day cycling the spar bath was absolutely brilliant. Just about everything that you could think of was in the room, down to the finest detail.

Breakfast was served from about 7:30 to 10:00. A much longer period than any places that we have stayed in for years. And it was superb.

Jan and her lovely mother and daughter (team) made us feel very special. They even gave us a conducted tour onto their part of the castle wall.

Their room information folder was full of really good info. They even had lots of menus from local pubs and restuarants. We would definately recommend the Black Boy pub, just round the corner.

Don't hesitate. Just go there.

We will be back, Vic & Ann Court

Bedrooms very well equipped, clean, comfortable and quiet (apart from the irritating humming of the in-room mini fridge, which is the only irritating thing about the whole place).

Rooms en-suite, small shower rooms/toilet very well equippedand very clean.

Views over the Menai Straits attractive, if you have one of the rooms overlooking the sea.

Breakfast is lovely, and staff coped well woith my special dietary requirements. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We'd been to the Victoria House before, so we looked nowhere else when we had to visit Snowdonia again. Jan remembered us and it felt like coming home. The rooms hadn't increased in price and are still great value considering all the extras (the rooms have a fridge with fresh orange juice, real mik, and there are chocolate bars with the tea and coffee. TV, DVD, dressing gown and slippers. One room has a whirlpool bath. Much more than you'd expect from a B&B). Everything was just as good as before and I'd go back again without question.
Caernarfon was still wet though!!

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Victoria House for the second time. We're pleased to hear you had a good break & enjoyed the Snowdon experience once again. I am in the process of up grading all bedroom furniture & creating a guest lounge in our endeavour to improve guest standards even further. Unfortunately, the unpredictable Coffi weather is out of my hands, although today we have beautiful sunshine & it looks like we could be in Italy! (honestly!)

Hope to see you again some time in the future.

Diolch yn fawr.

Yours sincerely,

Jan

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B on a recent trip to Caernarfon. We decided to stay here after reading all the previous trip advisor comments.
Jan and her team were so welcoming and nothing was too much bother. Everywhere was very clean and the rooms were spotlessly cleaned everyday. Lovely touches in the bedrooms - candles, wine glasses and a fridge which fitted wine/champagne - perfect for a romantic time away. They even added a special touch of treating us to a surprise of some sparkling wine in the fridge for us on my birthday which was so kind!
As previously mentioned, one of the lovely things about this b&b is that you can come and go as you please, unlike a number of b&b where you seem to have a curfew! Jan and her team were always avaliable if you needed anything. It is a b&b with a lovely family atmosphere and very kind and friendly. Also, the breakfasts were fantastic!!
Overall, this is a wonderful b&b which has everything going for it. We plan to stay here again when we next visit Caernarfon in the future, and we will be recommending it to all our friends.
