“Somewhere we would definitely return to.”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

We booked for a single one night stay and on reading reviews had high expectations. We weren't disappointed...we received a warm personal welcome from Mary and Roger. Our room,( we had read that rooms were small ) although not huge, was more than adequate for our requirements - I mean how big do people expect rooms to be?? I imagine the size reflected the size of many welsh houses. The room itself was spotless, a credit to the proprietors and staff. There were numerous personal touches - slippers, bottled water, toiletries to name a few. The bed was extremely comfortable , location incredibly quiet. Free parking literally metres away on the harbour. Breakfast choice was immense, we have stayed in hotels charging over £100 per night, where the breakfast choice was limited and of inferior quality....Roger and Mary even cooked my partner an additional Welsh rarebit as he had never tried it - stuff like that is unique and above and beyond. Mary and Roger are two genuinely lovely people, and they and their business deserve the reviews they receive. A lovely , lovely experience we would definitely repeat.

We stayed in Caernarfon as we were attending a wedding nearby. We arrived earlier than first check in, as the wedding started at 3pm. This was no trouble for the owner who showed us to our room and told us what he could do for breakfast - we're both vegan!

Breakfast was amazing. We normally have to take our own soya milk and end up eating dry toast. Not here we had a full vegan welsh breakfast. The owner, Mary had a lovely chat with us over breakfast we we had the impression that whatever your dietary persuasion nothing would be too much trouble. We'll be back! I can't recommend this highly enough!

We stayed here over the easter weekend for two nights and actually I am currently writing this while sitting in the dining room! A terrific guest house and lovely hosts. Mary is a gem to talk to and they make a mean breakfast with all the goodies. The homemade sausages are fantastic for the vegetarian and the scottish pancakes are light and tasty. The rooms are really tidy. We had room 6 on the top floor with an ensuite. All very clean. My only niggle was the bed, which was a little uncomfortable, maybe a new mattress required. But in all I still slept alright. Its in a top spot for exploring Caernarfon with the castle only being two small blocks away. Nice quiet street as well and with a nice outlook. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Just stayed one night at this beautiful guesthouse, this place is a little Gem, Mary and Roger really make this place a home from home with their friendly and welcoming nature, I felt like I had known them a long time. The room was very relaxing and had everything you would need for a perfect stay.
The Breakfast was delicious and the menu had a great choice.
I will defiantly be returning again when in Caernarfon as this is just the perfect place to stay :-)

My boyfriend and I spent two nights in this well styled, clean and homely B&B. The breakfast choices were impressive and the quality high. The owner made us feel very welcome. The parking was not a problem as it was just a 4 min walk away and free. We would certainly stay here again.

My boyfriend and i stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely staff. It was a homely and friendly atmosphere, the owners were friendly and lovely people. The room was very welcoming and clean,we stayed in the double with en-suite which we would highly recommend.

The choices at breakfast were plenty i would recommend the salmon omelette and the full welsh breakfast as well.
Parking was a slight problem but we did manage to park at the harbour this wouldn't put us off staying again.

Will definitely return in the future.

Stayed here in January with my boyfriend. Nice little b&b, owners were chatty and well looked after at breakfast. Loved the wallpaper in the rooms and beds were comfy. Parking was a bit hard but managed to park down at the harbour in the end, was also bit hard to find the place but would recommend
