Spent three nights at Travelodge Caernarfon, early August, 2014. Have to say one of the nicest Travelodge's I have stayed in. Which ever member of staff was on duty, all were very friendly and could not do enough for you. Had a slight problem with no new towels after the cleaners had been in on the second morning, but no sooner had I asked for some, than Erica was offering me two free breakfasts for the following morning. Room was very comfortable, a good nights sleep achieved on a good mattress. Good shower in the bathroom. All in all, no difference now from any of the usually higher quality Premier Inn's that we have stayed in.

Great base for N Wales, parking no problem, as the free car park, is only a minute's walk from the building and parking did not seem to be a problem. Morrison's handy only a 100 metre walk, which was great for stocking up for picnics. The dock area is very nice, with the Coffee bar very good. Give the Anglesey Arms a visit on the sea front next to the Castle, which often has live music out front. You can relax with a pint, and the food is good. If we visit N Wales again, Travelodge will be getting our booking.

This Travelodge is in a far more convenient location than previous lodges I have stayed at. However as the windows in the rooms are small, high and hardly open the room is dark and extremely stuffy. I do find it a shame that as part of the Travelodge room upgrades the comfortable bed settees have been replaced with one hard uncomfortable plastic chair.
Don't take too much luggage as there is very minimal storage space.

I'm a big fan of Travelodge. Book we'll in advance and a family of four can sleep for under £30 a night. Caernarfon is no exception. After a long journey, staff took pity and let us check in early(thanks Ruth). Location is great, Victoria Dock is clean and bright, car parking excellent. Short walk (2 mins) to Asda, Morrisons etc and only a few minutes more into Caernarfon itself. We even got a view of the sea! Thank you Travelodge. You have done me proud again.

Excellently situated in a new development close to the harbour and on the Menai Straits waterfront with views over Anglesea. A short walk into the town centre. Free car parking adjoining the development. An ideal centre to explore this part of the North Wales coast.
Staff were friendly and helpful and Laura did everything possible to make us welcome.

Last Feb, we booked two nights at this hotel for Aug and paid £29 a night. Amazing price for school holidays. The receptionist couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We stayed in room 8, which had a shower, no bath and was on the ground floor, all of which was fine by us. It was clean and tidy etc. It's in a perfect location, close to the castle and has ample free parking.
We will definitely be back for another visit on this deal!!

I can't fault the location of the hotel, towards the edge of town in a new development but still an easy walk into the town centre. Free parking is located a very short walk away and even in high summer there always seemed to be spaces.

The hotel itself was basic but functional, having recently been refurbished the hotel felt clean and new and provided excellent value for money. My only complaint being that due to the summer weather the temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm. Reception were kind enough to provide a fan and release the security lock on the window but air conditioning would have been a real bonus.

The staff at the hotel were simply brilliant, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. As someone staying away alone for the week this made a real difference.

Great value hotel in lovely position. Easy access to the town of Caernarfon and well situated beside the harbour and a Table Table Pub Restaurant which was ideal for breakfast and other meals. Staff were very welcoming and helpful
