“What we expected...”
Reviewed 5 June 2014 via mobile

We pitched up here at about 9pm one evening, tired from a long drive and with three hungry children demanding food. As you can imagine, the prospect of quick, tasty pub food and a beer was very enticing.

The pub is well positioned, with a great harbour view, they had Hobgoblin on draft and the staff went out of their way to find us a table. They had gluten free options for my coeliac daughter as well.

On the minus side, the food seemed to take forever, even though the place wasn't full.

Our waitress was very helpful, drawing us a map to show where we could pick up some late night shopping and even alerting us about a closed road on the way to our campsite.

All in all, it did what we wanted it to.

Thank Mike G

“Yummy food beautiful view”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

Although a very busy restaurant you never feel like you are left unattended. Staff are polite and helpful. The food always arrives well cooked and warm. The views from most tables are lovely, overlooking Caernarfon Castle, harbour and Menai straight which helps pass any wait for food admiring the yachts and watching boats come in and depart from this lovely quayside. We always eat here when we are staying in the nearby hotels and enjoy their breakfasts as well. Good food for good prices ideal for families.

“OK, but nothing special”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

It felt more like a pub that also serves food, not a restaurant. More like a Wetherspoons or a Beefeater. Steak n chips, fish n chips, burger n Chips sort of place. Perfectly ok, food was fine, no complaints, staff friendly.

“Typical chain restaurant ...”
Reviewed 1 June 2014 via mobile

We had breakfast here a few times whilst staying at the premier inn.
Service was friendly however the food was decidedly average and not too much to shout about. Just feels like the buffet service on an all inclusive deal!! Items regularly on short supply and by the time they were available you had nearly finished your meal!!
The coffee was also a bit of an issue ...I'm pretty sure it's watered down with the cheapest coffee available on the market. Awful.

“Probably the best of what is on offer”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

We were staying at the neighbouring Premier Inn as a base for our walk up Snowdon. Having taken a walk around town on the first evening we were struggling to find somewhere to eat. The only decent looking independent open in town was fully booked meaning a return to the Victoria Quay with only the Table Table or Chinese on offer.
We opted for the Table Table on both evenings. As is the case with such chain restaurants the menu is pretty straight forward and you know what to expect and at a price that you would regard as reasonable.
Whilst having no complaints with the food quality itself I did have question to challenge the quantity of filling in my chicken pie. the manager agreed that it was inadequate, immediately arranging a replacement and removing the item from our bill.
This polite and friendly service was evident throughout on both evenings and to some extent made up for the shortcomings with the food.
Overall, a safe place to find something to eat where there seems to be little better on offer locally.
