Signage very poor and somehow we escaped paying. Lovely walks and such romantic features in the garden. Wish we could go to a performance in the amphitheatre.
The cafe is lovely. Friendly staff and real food and STRONG coffee. Well worth eating there.

A fabulous place for a couple of hours with the kids. Diverse flora and fauna, which even I found interesting, hermits hut, caves, fountains. All ideal for an afternoon adventure for young explorers. The house is amazing and looks incredibly spooky in its unoccupied splendour. Dr Who's weeping angels were mentioned.

Highly recommended

Lovely for a family stroll, one can only imagine what the gardens must have been like at its peak, the place feels a bit unloved these days though
