“What's not to like?!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

Beautiful home made food served by lovely staff. The cafe is warm and welcoming and although small - as the word 'fach' ( Welsh for small) tells you it offers an anything but small menu! Theres ate daily specials and tried and tested favourites like liver and bacon or the traditional lopscows ( a tasty welsh stew) . The cafe is a favourite with the older locals of the town but it's a place suitable for young couples, families or pensioners! Their prices are very reasonable and the service is always with a smile.

There are also a selection of homemade cakes and puddings if you want a sweet treat.

Theres nothing not to like about Cegin Fach! Many thanks

“Great”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

A great little cafe. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The food tasted great especially the local park sausages and Welsh faggots. A really lovely little place with a homely atmosphere

“Homely and delicious”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

A treasure of a find, hidden away round the corner from Specsavers, this place is well worth a look. Full of locals (which I always take as a good sign) with great specials on the board - lamb stew = yum - and a great range of sweets too.
Take the time to find it - you won't be disappointed!!

Stumbled upon this cafe after seeing a sign, felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Children given toys and books to play with, food was homemade and delicious, dessert was yummy. Something for everyone. Good value, really friendly staff wish we lived closer!!!!! Thank you x

“Warm and welcoming even to noisy children”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

A group of 5 adults and 5 children descended on the peace and tranquility of this cafe; and they could not have been more welcoming. Toys and books were brought out for the children, ranging in age from 2-12. The menu was discussed and debated with the 12 year old, who was content with his food. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. Although the atmosphere was what made this such a lovely end to a busy day. Highly recommended to all.
