No visit to the town would be complete without going to the caslte. You can spend hours in here! The views from the towers towards Anglesey, Snowdonia and the town are simply breathtaking...a must see! A commanding building that no picture postcard can do justice, you simply have to see it for real. Also inside there is the very impressive regimental museum of the Royal Welch Fusiliers, formed in 1689 and still going today. This is also a World Heritage Site.

Great Castle... it was very interesting to actually be able to see a Castle in the shape that this one was in. Loads of information about the "hows and whys" of castle life. The stairways were tiny - hence the high heel comment - but a great experience over all. I would highly recommend a visit here!

Ideally placed in the town centre, close to lots of restaurants, bars etc.

This is a huge castle with lots of dark passageways, wall walks and towers to explore. Superb views over the town and the sea towards Anglesey. Displays are a bit dated and wordy but the castle itself if sensational.
