“Caernarfon Castle - Worth a visit”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Caernarfon Castle is well worth a visit for the castle lovers out there.
We would say in history terms it ranks high with others in the area, situated in the town centre near the river with reasonably priced parking with access to boat trip & shopping (Limited quality shops). We would say it's worth spending half a day just wondering around.
Regards GCD

“Fantastic Castle”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

We loved this castle. It has been many years since I was here and they have many interesting exhibitions and a great video. All in all, a good time and well worth the entrance fee.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Lovely walled town with the castle inside and next to the coast. Wheelchair users and their companion get in free. There is a lift to higher level with access to the Queens balcony - used by the royal family at the investiture.
For agile visitors the castle is amazing. You can go up stairs, along passages, up the towers and around the tops... nothing is closed off. Fabulous views from the top of Snowdonia.
Great museum within the castle plus a room dedicated to the investiture of 1969.

“A must to explore”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

How can you explain history without seeing it, the castle lends itself to exploration and has sufficient historical notes and explanations to make the whole experience satisfying. Last time in the region we missed it, this time we made sure to spend time and didn't regret it, The castle is fabulous.

“Brilliant”
Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

This castle is enormous and with many nooks and crannies, hidden rooms and stairs leading to where ever, kids especially will love this place. Various exhibitions on site really allow you to delve back into history. Only thing which would have made this place even better is having 1 or 2 rooms set up in the way it used to be.
