Description: The Anglesey Arms is an old building built in 1736 with the traditional wooden beams running throughout the pub. We are right next to the castle itself and built into the castle walls which goes all the way around the town. We are a very popular destination especially in the summer with up to 300-400 people in and around. In the summer more often than not we have live music / bands all day everyday depending on the weather, we have the best views, beer on tap, and food served all day!!

So I showed up to this nice little sea side pub expecting to get mid afternoon bite and a pint.... The menu looked good and stated they served sandwiches and starters from noon to 6pm we walked up to the bar at 330pm to order and was informed by a miserable looking blond bar maiden "we don't serve afternoon meals no more"

Went in for food. .... Menu stated 12-6 daily... Arrived 3:30 and no food service. Staff very miserable! Seemed as if they truly do not care to earn wages or business!

Dropped into the Anglesey for one of Kenny's curry nights on a Saturday. My partner and myself are from either end of the curry scale with me liking the hot and spicy. After a chat with the chef my partner had a mild chicken curry done exactly to her liking and I had one of the best lamb curries i've had in a long time. Both served with rice, naan and poppadoms and a nice side plate of salad, mango and cucumber raita. An absolute treat washed down with a couple of beers. Cracking stuff Kenny, long may it continue and we'll be back for more. Cheers Al.

Popped into the Anglesey Arms for a bit of lunch with our dog and were made to feel very welcome. A bowl of water appeared almost instantly for the dog and the food was really good (and very reasonable). We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

A 'gastro Pub' in Caernarfon, who would have thought it? We used to go here on a sunny day, sit outside and enjoy the view but since the new owners have taken over it's reputation as an eatery is growing and growing, quite right too based on the food we had there. It was really, really good. They use locally sourced ingredients and to the 'Other Half's' delight, they have an excellent selection of Real Ale(kept very well according to him) I am not too bothered about Real Ale but if you get a chance, go to The Anglesey Arms for really great food and fantastic views across the Bay.,
