I didn't stay here but did stop off for a meal as the location was great - tables outside looking over the Menai Straits and being very handy for the castle.
However I had to warn others about the extremely poor standard of food & drink service. I tried several of the Marston beers (bitter/ales) but they were all very run of the mill quality and not kept up to the general levels of most pubs these days. It took a long time to get served at the bar also.
Our bar food also took about 45min to arrive, which just isn't acceptable with a young child. I had to ask about it several times, and I got the impression of the whole operation being chaotic, despite the pub not being full. When the food did arrive it was cold and of poor quality.
