“Fabulous Family Friendly Holiday - 3yrs running”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2013

This wonderful value for money hotel has looked after me & my family for 3 years each time taking more of us, even the mother in law joined us this year(16 total). We had a 4 night DBB and the quality and quantity of the food is always excellent. The staff cannot do enough to make you feel welcome, they even arranged a private room for us due to the size of the party for dinner, as we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant we declined their kind offer. The swimming pool is ideal to take the children after a busy day sight seeing whilst everybody gets ready for dinner. The only down side was a group of extremely rude old people (annual coach trip) who took over the television room to play cards and turned off the television whilst the children were enjoying Britains got Talent finals, they were so rude and said that the children should be in bed(at 8.30 on holiday) !!!

Room Tip: Sometimes there is offers on Groupon too !!

I have visited The Royal Celtic Hotel a number of times over the last five years and should have posted this review a long time ago in the interest of helping disabled guests There two and three night breaks for dinner bed and breakfast are really good value for money. Although there is no ground floor accommodation the hotel has a lift.
.The disabled facilities are very good the en suite is well equipped with drop down rail and grab rails .The staff are very efficient and friendly,They do accommodate coach parties and so it can be very busy, for me this just adds to the atmosphere. On occasion there is entertainment in the Havana Bar.which you can go and enjoy after a superbly served three course meal the food is the best that I have been presented with anywhere a varied selection beautifully presented almost to good to eat.It is advisable to book your table for dinner upon arrival...
.The entire hotel is spotlessly clean.if you look at the website you will see the gym and swimming pool for those that wish to take advantage..Help is available with your luggage. There is level disabled parking at the side of the hotel and easy access in to the hotel is best through the rear of the hotel past the leisure facilities. if you have any problem all you have to do is tell reception and anything is dealt with right away. There are pleasant rooms to relax in if you prefer to leave your table for coffee.free wifi is available just ask for the password. i have complete confidence in recommending this hotel.

Stayed with family for 1 night, whilst visiting friends nearby. Pleasant hotel, grand entrance and comfortable lounge area to sit. Rooms large, clean and comfortable. A bath and shower in ensuite!

Plenty of parking space, free wifi, responsive customer focused staff. Breakfast was a bit of a lottery, rooms all very crowded and service patchy, but food edible and filling.

Would stay again.

Room Tip: Wifi works best in reception/ lounge area. We had large comfortable rooms at the back, others looked...

Found this hotel on Tripadvisor - 110 bedrooms, catering for large coach parties. Because of this, we found the staff very inpersonal.

The bedroom was very large and well appointed, however - The toilet brush was missing, the metal plug in the washbasin did not fit and did not close. I hate having to shave in running water.

Who designed the light switches in the bedroom? The light switch for the bathroom was as you enter the room and not on the wall next to the bathroom - no joke, looking for it in the middle of the night.

Three lounges, poor lighting - could not read a paper or book in the evening. I would not return to this hotel again.

Room Tip: Coach parties take preference over indivduals

Lovely hotel nice and clean. Staff very polite and helpful, food was first class and not badly priced. Room spacious good size bathroom, but the double bed a little on the uncomfortable side, but everything else first class. Will stay again.

Located within walking distance of Caernarfon Castle and beautiful views of Caernafon Bay, this hotel is a wonderful combination of charm and convenience. I stayed in a spacious corner room at the front of the hotel with windows on two sides. The room was exceptionally large as was the bathroom. The room had a four-poster bed, two desks, a sofa, and a large wardrobe. The room felt homey, comfortable, and charming.

I had dinner in the hotel restaurant both evenings of my stay, and the food was delicious. There is a spa, pool, and exercise rooms, but i did not use those facilities.

The part of the hotel in which I stayed would be diffucult for anyone with mobility problems. The hotel seems to have been built/extended/remodeled over a period of years which results in many series of steps throughout the building.

Room Tip: If you want of view of part of the castle and the bay, ask for a room in the front.
