We we aere quite suprised at this little place it was small but all very well kept. Of course the sunshione helped out but this is a lovely place to spend a few hours having a tipple by the boats.

Short stroll from Town centre. Intresting area, look in harbour & you will see large grey mullet swimming arround. We stayed at the Premier Inn which is actually on the dock & convenient for the dock & the Town

Lots of parking here and the area has been much improved since we were last there some years ago. Would benefit from more eateries and cafes

Lovely development of a previously down at heel/brown field area. The marina has been fully dredged and equipped and is attracting a lot of boats; 'Galeri' theatre-bar is a must for summer nights with spectacular sunsets; Table-table offers a decent family and couples bar and dining at reasonable costs; there is a good Chinese; 'Celtica' is a lovely all-Welsh goods shop-not cheap but always interesting to browse and have morning coffee. Plus two chain hotels tucked away, Morrisons just a 5 minute walk and plenty of parking-some of it free. Stroll into town [10 mins] along the Menai Straits to the castle and Slate Quay or 'inland' through the medieval town walls. Lots to see and a very pleasant introduction to the town. Tip: even the pay parking here is cheaper than the Castle/Quay parking, so park up here on the edge of town and walk in.

Can park here for free and a quick walk into town centre. Was nice to look at the boats and had a coffee in the cafe and a look around the shop which was good value for money.
