“very good”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

The restaurant was small but packed but we were lucky to get the last table - very good service and food. Recommended. Always a good sign if somewhere is busy.

“Fabulous experience”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

A lovely quirky little restaurant, fabulous menu, lovely decor and the art work produced by the chef was just as fabulous as his food. Very friendly staff what more can I say. Oh yes most restaurants are closed on a Monday in Caernarfon so advisable to book.

Thank you for your beautiful review. Yes, the art on our wall are all by Tupe Langi, he was an appreciated artist in Australia and now here. I use the occasion to invite all of you, to his art-exhibition at the David Hughes Centre in Beaumaris, from 9th - 23rd August, it is his fourth exhibit here in Wales. Good luck Tupe, and thank you to you as our guest and for your quote about it.

“Very pleasant evening”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 via mobile

Ate here twice while on holiday and had a good meal both nights. The restaurant was also open on Monday night which, strangely, not many in Caernarfon are. The service was OK if a little slow but that was never a problem. Would certainly eat here again.

“Yummy!”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

We had a really nice meal, the menu is very varied - some Italian but I had a Polynesian fish chowder (lovely except for the salmon which was just wrong in there) and my wife had a goulash which was very rich. good sized portions and service was fine. Puds not quite as inspired. Local beers in bottle from the Purple Moose brewery washed it all down very nicely
A bit pricier than some other local places but certainly not expensive - we paid £64 for 3 of us with a drink each but only one pud

“poor at best”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

started off ok, wine was good, they gave us both a free starter. the tomato sauce tasted like it had been taken from a sardines tin. exactly the same, i had the meat balls, horrible! bland, the texture everything. my friend had lasagne , again tasted bland. poor quality food. salad was covered with some sauce, so greasy it was mental. the waitress was good, and the wine. Apart from that, don't waste your money. i have heard good things about the place, maybe it was just there italian food. on the same street you have Blas and Osteria. I would go there before stones every time now.
