out of the way quiet location perfect for me.
fantastic views from bedroom.had to use alarm to wake for breakfast
as it was so quiet .red kites landing on black mountains beautiful site from are window.
hosts very friendly and helpful .narrow roads in urban location.
3 miles to get evening meal in a pub etc.great if you like walking many walking routes .
What a lovely place! I don't think they have been running b&b for long but Colin & Sarah (I hope I got their names right!) are doing a fantastic job.
Gorgeous house, splendid scenery, beautifully quiet and with legendary Welsh hospitality.
We got there late yet Sarah welcomed us with a smile. She also remembered to get soya milk for my coffee even though I should have remembered to bring one!
Our rooms, both at the top of the house were very pretty, very clean and very quiet.
The breakfast was served at a large table which was great, we got to know the other couple staying in..
The breakfast itself was the best I've had in ages. That bacon was from another world!
We stayed only for one night as it was only a short trip to Wales but loved every minute of it. Do go. It really is a fantastic b&b!
P.s. Don't be put off by some people saying the road was challenging. It is a normal narrow country road, nothing scary. And the reward is staying in a place where u can see the stars and can hear nothing for miles. Just enjoy the silence.
My Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. The family that run the B&B were really welcoming especially Max the dog. They were great for advising where to go in the local area. Lovely breakfast and as we sat with other guests it made it a very friendly place indeed. Fab views and although it's in the middle on nowhere the main roads aren't too far away.
What a delightful find. Although it's out of the way (definitely need a car) the views from this place were stunning. The room itself was comfortable and the bed huge. Breakfast in the morning was delightful full Welsh. Definitely recommend.
Found this place last minute; excellent booking and helpful owner. One of the best, spotlessly clean, beautiful location, very comfortable, lovely and quiet and so reasonable too. Some might prefer seperate tables for breakfast rather than the one table shared with other guests; guess that's a personal thing and certainly not a criticism of the operation. I would strongly advise navigating from Crickhowell as opposed to Llanthony - much easier road and straightforward route.
Took my wife here for her birthday and also to see the place where we got married in tre tower. This b&b is beautiful and the views of the area are just stunning. The room was perfect and everything was just what we needed or could of asked for. Our hosts Paul,Sarah and Colin were so polite helpful and really friendly and the breakfast was delicious with a good selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurts as extras. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from the busy day to day and just relax.
I took my husband here for his birthday and as parents of two little boys we really enjoyed the tranquillity.
The bnb is beautifully furnished and has breathtaking views. We lucked out with the weather and the breakfast supplied was superb.
I am a coeliac and they had even arranged gluten free bread and cereals for me,which was such a lovely gesture.
A highlight was a relaxing bath in a beautiful roll top bath and amazing views to look out on.
We had a lovely few days in the beacons. Thank you so much for such great hospitality. We will be back!!!
