1 last visited the Guest House 2 years ago and was so impressed I thought I should write a review. This time I feel it is my duty to write a review on what is not only a fantastic guest house but also a Welsh experience.
The hosts Kevin & Jenny have made some great improvements on what was already a top notch B&B. All the rooms are now en-suite and I couldn’t think of another thing that a guest could require in a room that is not already provided The 4 stars status they have achieved is well deserved, unlike some 4 star B&B’s we have stayed in!
The breakfast is a feast of local produce. We had to tick a menu the night before to show what we wanted to eat and it was so hard not to tick all the boxes, the choice was so comprehensive. My wife particularly liked the ‘red berry’ jelly starter (how can something so delicious be fat free!!)
We watched Jenny dispensing advice to guests on the best places to visit and to eat and not only were they pointed in the right direction; Jenny also gave humorous anecdotes and lessons in Welsh history to show what make them the best. The Welsh Tourist Board should put this guest house on their website as a tourist attraction such is Jenny’s enthusiasm for all things Welsh.
