We recently spent two nights at the Castlebank using a groupon voucher. The rooms were individually decorated and we had the 'Rose Room'. It was tastefully and thoughtfully furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was wonderful with a beautiful view across to the town walls. Henrique was the perfect host and gave our stay that special touch. We wouldn't hesitate to return and can highly recommend a stay here.

Got a deal with KGB deal. Superb hospitality. Right near the castle walls. Made to feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast, and we also ate in the restaurant one night, again. good food and very good service - you were made to feel special. Really enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again. Bathroom was quirky as you opened what seemed like cupboard doors to go in. A pleasure to stay here.

We had a lovely couple of nights here. Everything about our stay was really exceptional, from our warm welcome, great room, and tasty breakfast, to all the unexpected extras like papers, books, dvd's and beautiful photographs of the surrounding area taken by Henrique.
There were even ear plugs in the bathroom, just in case you had a snoring partner!!!
This was a really good place to start to our holiday in Wales, many thanks to Jo and Henrique.

My wife and I stayed here September 2012, for two nights. We had stayed the previous night at another Welsh hotel, which was reportedly a much better grade. The welcome at Castlebank was a thousand per cent improvement. We were greeted by Henrique who was friendly and welcoming. He gave us a quick tour of the dining romm, bar and lounge, showing us the books and dvd's for guests to borrow. He then helped carry the bags to the room and showed us around the TV, shower, etc.
Breakfast was cooked to order and was superb. The motto of Henrique and his wife Jo is if you need anything - ask and we will do our best to provide it.
Car parking in Conway is difficult but the hotel is central enough that you don't need to take your car into town. Henrique was very informative about places to visit and eat, both locally and further afield.
We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked 2 nights at this hotel purely because of the fabulous reviews it had and we were not disappointed! We met both owners who were so friendly and helpful during our stay.
The owner gave us a tour of the hotel, breakfast room and bar, lounge with books and dvds to borrow. He then showed us how everything worked in the room like the shower and tv / dvd. He said if we needed anything to buzz the bell at reception.
Room was beautifully decorated and immaculately cleaned. Lovely super kingsize bed which we now are purchasing one ourselves! Great views! Comfy and nice bedding and nice hot shower with soft towels. SUCH yummy breakfast to set us up for the day with newspapers! Very generous with teas and coffees and milk in room. One thing I loved about this hotel was the silence we had in our room! Bliss! One thing you can't get from larger hotels.
I honestly can say we could not fault this stay and I was sad to leave. Infact I would have moved in if I could. From our experience this hotel goes above and beyond to please their guests. We highly recommend this to any age group or family who are exploring the area. There is a restaurant open Fri/ Sat too.
We originally was going to book with one of the larger more expensive hotels in Llandudno but chose this one beacuse of the great reviews. We had such a fantastic stay!

We stayed one night bed and breakfast and it was excellent. Just outside the walls, fantastic, a bit of a climb of course up to the front door, but because of its positon the views are wonderful, we were lucky as we had a front room with a lovely landscape view, we sat for half an hour just looking out and relaxing in the pleasant room. The only member of staff we saw in the evening to welcome us and sign us in, at the bar and morning serving breakfast was the owner. So very personal, informal service. We hightly recommend this hotel, a little more expensive than others but worth it.

Stayed for 2 nights in room 5, looking out to the castle, the host was great, showed me round the hotel, and the breakfast was plenty, Room was spotless, and was some good info about the history off the hotel.. so close to the town, cant wait to go back, will pass on to family and friends, thank you for a wonderful stay .

Room Tip: try and book a room with a view, well worth the money.
