“A truly amazing place to stay!”

I have stayed in the Uppergate Street house every other year since around 2005 now, and never been anything other than ecstatic with my stay, and it still will always be my favourite place to venture for a short break. Andy is a gentleman and his customer service skills are second to none, if you have any queries he is always on hand to help.

The house is very clean, has a spacious living room with a TV and dvd player, comfy seating, central heating, fridge/freezer, oven with hobs, microwave, kettle, and all kitchen appliances are included in the price paid. Spacious back yard with table and chairs, great for sitting out in summer and overlooking the beautiful views of Conwy. There are two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and bath. parking to the front up the small hill or pay and display to the left and through the bridge. This house is situated in the walls of Conwy, and very close to the town centre (literally a 2 minute walk), home of the best butchers in north wales (Edwards of Conwy). Plenty of pubs to visit, good takeaways, gift shops, newsagents, restaurants, and plenty to see and do - you can visit the smallest house, check out the views on the dock and go fishing, take a look around the famous Conwy Castle, plus much more.

Very reasonably priced for how good this property is, suitable for all and great for a break all year round and I highly recommended booking!

Thanks again Andy.

Jonny and Hannah

“4 day break”
Reviewed 3 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

This cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room for us and 2 dogs. Centrally located so easy walking distance to shops and pubs/restaurants. Short drive to beach, zoo and other attractions. Have to say the parking situation could be a problem for some people. Thanks to the owner for allowing us a little extra time to pack up on leaving day.

This is a personal note, but if there was a little bit of money spent on the decor and maybe a hot tub in the back garden this cottage would be 5 star.

“Conwy stay”
Reviewed 15 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and toddler.
The location is excellent- 2 minute walk from the town centre/train station.
We left our car in a near by car park (pay and display) just up the road.
The house has a characteristic charm and the kitchen is well equiped with cooking utensils and facilities.
The only negatives we found is the gap in the main bedroom window which allowed some road noise in and we were unable to shut the bathroom window fully as we couldnt find the key. I'd also recommend the house has a good clean although it was comfortable for our stay.
The house was nicely heated on our arrival and the owner communicated well prior to our stay.

“Well equipped, comfortable, perfect place for a stay in Conwy”
Reviewed 18 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We have stayed in holiday lets in and near Conwy for several years and really enjoyed this one, in our opinion nicer, and better value for your money than most. It was very tidy, comfortable and very well equipped and the owner extremely pleasant and efficient in all dealings. The fresh lilies that opened slowly over our ten day stay, filling the cottage with a lovely scent was a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. And having toilet rolls, and a wide range of cleaning materials etc and lots of towels already in situ to use - made all the difference! The outside area with fireplace was great for summer evening barbeque too, with roomy table and chairs. This cottage is a perfect place to be in Conwy, with much within a short walking distance, pub, Spar, High St shops, castle, post office, butchery, quay etc etc. And a great base for all that there is to see in North Wales. Perfect! Thank you very much, would love to go every year!

Liked best: All very good, nice to have 3 TV's! And dishwasher, and washing machine and good kitchen and equipment and nice outside area with fireplace. A lot to like!!
Liked least: Only downside was the good sized fridge/freezer is a tight fit in cupboard under stairs, so access a bit tricky if you a lot of self catering for longish stay, as we do. Only option would be to move boiler if poss, so that it could be in kitchen.

“Cosy cottage in the heart of Conwy”
Reviewed 1 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We enjoyed our stay at Ty Pen Y Bryn, very cosy and warm with everything we could need for our weekend in Conwy. Our dog was welcome and as the cottage was relaxed we didn't have to worry about her being there. Great location but we found it hard to find free parking.

Comfortable lounge and cute bedrooms with a tv in each room. Nice outside area which we found useful to store our bike and would have used if sunny weather.

Little extras provided like tea towels, loo roll, soap, fairy, kitchen roll, tea, coffee etc were a nice touch.

“excellent place and location”
Reviewed 3 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

On arrival we found the house to be bright, modern and clean, with everything you needed.
It's location is superb. Set within the castle walls, and a 3 minute walk from the town centre with all its amenities.
Fantastic place to stay.
Highly recommend
