The food here was excellent. We had a very sweet waitress, who perhaps could have done with a bit more training - our bottle of wine was plonked on the table unopened. Whilst we were quite capable of opening it ourselves, you don't normally expect to do that in a restaurant!

Very nice waitress but she was really clueless. We ordered starters and main courses, asking first about the sizes of the starters. Well it turned out that the starters could have been meals so we ended up with almost two full meals per person, and it all came at the same time. Several of the items were very tasty, but much was only average and the bread was awful. They also did not take credit cards which is ridiculous for that price restaurant. I cannot imagine them staying in business.

We were visiting Conwy for the first time and lucky to find this place for a relaxing dinner with plenty of seafood. The wait for the food is quite worth it. The waitress is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Food especially the fish dishes for Starters or Main was very good but took a while to arrive..The Chowder, which one of our party of six had, was very salty. When the waitress cleared the table after the meal she asked if everything was OK. The problem with the Chowder was mentioned and after taking the plates she returned to say we would not be charged for the Chowder. Staff were very friendly if a little inexperienced. Booking is essential as a number of people were turned away as the evening progressed.Closed on Wednesday.

From what this reviewer could see, this place does just about everything right; pleasant shop front, interesting menu, cool looking young chef, nice waitress, quirky early 60's music, food excellent and good value. So why did three tables walk in and walk out again? Maybe the inside needs to match the outside, or perhaps the North Wales Tribe would prefer pub food with bags of chips? Their loss if that is the case. This place would go down a bomb in north London! Go there. Be prepared to wait a bit but you won't be disappointed.
