This place will have me making Conwy my base of operations for North Wales. A huge selection of real ales that change throughout the night is complimented by amazing service with staff who know beer and will help you pick what you want, even giving out small tasters. Pricers are extremely reasonable and the atmosphere is great. You'll go into this place expecting to have a pint and end up staying for hours and getting to know some great people. I can't recommend this enough!

We asked a local if there where any dog friendly pubs in Conwy, he directed us to The Albion. A good old fashioned all round pub. Real ale for those who want it. For us it was the very friendly welcoming staff, and the fact the dogs where allowed. An enjoyable afternoon had by all, very sociable establishment, people actually have conversations with strangers. A must to visit we will be back.

Called in during a short break in Conwy on advice from friends. What a little belter of a pub. From the outside you may just walk past it but if you enjoy real ales then pop in. Good choice of local beers and staff were very knowledgeable on the subject. Can't recommend it enough!

This is a beer pub! They do food snacks but on food alone it would not get many stars. I have been here many times over the past few years, always felt welcome and always had great service and been able to relax even when the pub is heaving. It seems that everybody is welcome here, well maybe not the food critics but they can always have some olives or a packet of crisp and wash it down with a pint of beer. The service behind the bar always seems to step up a level with each visit, from the little samples, the constant rotation of real ales available and the offers to top up pints when the head has settled, whilst prices are always kept at a reasonable rate. the roaring fires are always welcome with walkers too as being so close to the mountains there is often the need to dry clothes out whilst supping a beer. I love it here

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to review us.
Here at The Albion Ale House we try to provide a friendly and professionally-run place for people to enjoy the amazing ales that our four breweries produce. It is so rewarding when people leave here having enjoyed what we do.
