“A calm and cosy oasis”

I stayed in this property for a few nights in December 2015 and I can highly recommend – The owner, Phillip, did a fine job with the Christmas decorations and the mince pies and mulled wine were a nice touch (Burp!) The cottage, spread over three neat and tidy floors, is very cosy and well laid out with all of the modern comforts as well as some nice (possibly original?) touches: The old-school Bakelite light switches were quite charming and I’m a sucker for a Belfast sink :o). Location wise the place is absolutely superb, we’ve been holidaying in the area since I was a kid – and that’s a very long time, but to actually stay within the town walls was a new experience. The cottage is a very short stroll from the high street as well as the castle and Edwards butchers (Easily the best pies in the entire world – Burp again). I can also recommend the nearby Albion Ale house for an excellent selection of fermented tasty beverages. All in all, it was a very relaxing break before returning to the tedious carnage of Christmas and I would happily visit again in the future.

Loved this cottage and will definitely be back soon. Great location, perfect for our dogs with an area for early and late walks nearby. The cottage was cosy and toastie warm for our arctic week in early February. Thanks for all the thoughtful extras in the cottage, it was much appreciated. Conwy is lovely, with great restaurants and good walks, even in the freezing conditions we had. Lots of pubs that welcome dogs. Must mention the Albion, good beer, lovely wine, open fires in all rooms and dog biscuits galore.. heaven.

“Luxury stay and perfect location in the lovely historic Conwy”
Reviewed 20 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

I stayed with my mum and dog for a weekend getaway. The cottage is exactly as pictured by the owners. A luxurious, peaceful, comfortable home away from home; although we only stayed 2 nights we could have happily stayed 2 weeks as the cottage is so well equipped.
When we arrived the heating was on, flowers on the table, tea/coffee/milk and Thornton's biscuits in the kitchen.
The location in the centre of town could not have been better, what a privilege to stay within the castle walls. Unique views from the bathroom window onto the castle walls and hills beyond.
A banister from the 2nd to 3rd floor would have made access to the bathroom for my mum easier, care is needed with dogs (and children too I suppose) as the front door opens onto pavement/road but these are only 2 points to note which don'd distract from a lovely stay.
I hope to stay again.

“Great property with a really good finish and thoughtful added touches.”

Although we live in Conwy we had family visiting from Australia and haven't the room to put them up so looked online for a local holiday let.
The online pictures looked good but you never know until you open the door,in fact the pictures don't do it justice.the finish is really well done and someone has spent a lot of time and effort getting it right.
The location couldn't be better and it was very comfortable with all the added extras like cleaning products, beverages and even cakes it couldn't have been more welcoming .
We were all really impressed and would recommend it to anyone.
