All other positive reviews are accurate. Excellent location, just walk a few feet and you are in the town walks. Beautiful grounds, clean rooms, helpful, and AMAZING breakfast, Alison's Welsh cakes are the best. She pays attention to details. For example the room has an US power converter. For the price you are getting a great value. Don't hesitate if she has room availability. By the way this was my first B&B because I'm a hotel guy but my wife convinced me to try and it was an excellent experience.

Bryn Guest House is the perfect place to stay in Conwy. Right outside (literally) of the walls of the city, perched on a hilltop, the house is a historical treasure, cozy, inviting and the hosts are a treat.

We stayed in room 3, which has a view of the castle, surrounding valley, and town. We could sit and soak up the sun (without the chilly wind) right from the comfort of our room. The room was very pretty with a big comfy bed, fireplace, sitting area and small en-suite bathroom. I love the historical details like the overhead pull cords for the lights.

The breakfast was incredible -- with options for vegans, vegetarians, celiacs, etc. They take every effort to make every person happy and satisfied. The welsh cakes were the best we had anywhere, and the sunny, warm breakfast room made us never want to leave.

Conwy is a lovely town, well worth a stop and an overnight, if not two! Walking the walls, sitting in the cozy pubs and just wandering through the village was really fantastic, and how nice to know we were staying right there and didn't have to move the car once we arrived.

Our only issue was that we had a tricky time finding the B&B at first, but it was more our GPS's fault than anything else, once we knew where it was we couldn't believe we had driven right past it!

We hope that we have the chance to go back to Bryn Guest House again- it would be such a joy to be a two-time guest at this amazing B&B.

I have just come back from a night away in Conwy and our stay at Bryn was brilliant. Alison and Nick are fabulous hosts, helpful, friendly and very welcoming.
The house and gardens are beautiful and our room had everything we could ask for. The bed was actually the best I've ever slept in.
Breakfast was lush, homemade Welsh cakes on every table, beautiful fruit salad and a wonderful Welsh breakfast with locally sourced meats. Homemade bread and locally made jams topped it all off.
I would recommend Bryn to everyone.

Just got back from an amazing weekend staying at Bryn guest house. Starting with the friendly hosts, it was immediately obvious we had made the right choice. From the immaculate house and room, to the amazing location right by the city walls, it was perfect even before we had the joys of the unbelievable breakfasts and gluten free baking! It's the little touches like the gluten free biscuits and the cupcakes marked "mmmm!" that make the difference, and smiling happy hosts are the way forward! Had some great chats over breakfast with the other guests from the USA, and even managed to learn some new facts about our country. Without going off topic and rambling about how good it was, this is the way it should be, a perfect enjoyable weekend in an amazing B&B, worth every penny! We will be back!

My wife and I have recently returned from a lovely long weekend in Conwy and this was our third stay at the Bryn Guest House and as ever, it is a real treat to stay here.

As confirmed by other guests in their reviews, the quality at the Bryn is superb and each stay has been a real pleasure for us and, great value.

The external and internal decorations are always in a very well maintained condition and very soothing on the eye. The carpets, furnishings, bedding, curtains, linens etc are of a very high quality and it is obvious that Alison and Nick run this establishment with a deep passion and, they are both very pleasant hosts.

The attention to detail and many little extra's in the guest rooms, en-suites (or private bathroom) and dining room are a very nice touch.

We have always found the rooms to be nice and quiet to stay in and have never been disturbed by other guests or their televisions or music etc.

The vast breakfast menu is amazing and if you opt for a beautiful "full Welsh cooked breakfast" or the scrambled egg with smoked salmon, everything is freshly cooked to order for you.
As well as this, Alison also makes her own Welsh cakes and bakes her own bread on the premises.

The grounds and gardens around the Bryn are beautifully kept and very colourful in late Spring and Summer. There is plenty of off-road parking for staying guests and the views of Conwy and Snowdonia from the guest rooms are quite stunning.

Even if you arrive here without transport, the Town, Castle and Quay of Conwy have plenty to see and do and the local bus service can soon get you to various other destinations of interest.

The Conwy town bakers (next to the Penny Farthing Sweet Shop) have a magnificent selection of freshly baked quality bread, cakes, pies and other superb savouries and fancies etc and Edwards the butchers produce the finest bacon and sausages (as served at the Bryn) and both shops are well worth a visit during your stay and, on your last trip to town before your journey back home.

Overall, the Bryn Guest House is a real gem in the lovely Welsh hillside and yes...they really do keep a welcome for you here. Roll on our next stay!

Room Tip: From our experience, all the guest rooms are very good but, our real favourite is Room 4 with the se...

Bryn Guest House is great value. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated, the bed was large and comfortable and the ensuite was well done too. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and locally sourced. Alison made us feel very welcome and provided some excellent tips for eating and drinking in the town in the evening. Overall excellent value for money.

I had the option of staying at the local Youth Hostel or staying here. I certainly made the right choice. From my large double room I looked out at the garden which incorporated the castle wall. Although I stayed in the coldest March in many years I can imagine sitting out in the garden and having a drink or a meal in the Summer. The house is well situated being around 300m from the town centre. There was also access to a Marine Walk a few hundred yards to the rear of the property. The owners attention to detail did make a difference, fresh mineral water, biscuits, chocolate, tea and coffee every day. A kettle and filter coffee machine and a hair dryer in the room. Top quality bedding and towels. Really had the fell of a top hotel rather then a B&B. There were a large collection of guide books, maps and leaflets so there was no real need to go to the tourist information office. The owners were very knowledgable regarding attractions and how to get there. Breakfast was tasty, all bought locally, they was home made bread and cakes left out of an evening. Great value for money. Hope you enjoy it too.

Room Tip: I stayed in Room 1. Large Double Room on ground floor.
