This is a delightful place to stay. The proprietor, Allison, is a traveler and so she has an excellent sense of what people need and want in a B&B. The breakfast is great, especially the Welsh cakes. It is conveniently located for those using public transportation. Allison made great suggestions for day trips.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are lovely. The two rooms upstairs in the front have beautiful views.

Lovely house directly under the town wall. Good sized rooms, very clean and comfortable, great breakfast and very friendly help, advice and service from Alison. Perfectly located for Conwy, just a couple of minutes walk from everything and also convenient to drive to and from for things further away and tp park the car.

Alison made a great breakfast and a great suggestion to visit the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on our way to the Cotswolds. The rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and the breakfasts were delicious with those yummy home-made jams.

Great location near the city walls.

This is a gorgeous house with beautiful gardens abutting the town wall in Conwy. It was a very short walk to the sites in Conwy, but far enough away to be quiet at night. It was pretty much perfect, and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful.

We had a large room (#4) with a bay window, fireplace, wardrobe, two chairs and refrigerator. It was very pretty. We had our own bathroom, but it was just outside the room. Not quite as convenient as en suite, but it was a large, old, and very charming bathroom, so we had no complaints. Breakfast was very good. On top of everything, the price was excellent -- it was definitely the best value of our two weeks in Wales.

We stayed overnight in August and enjoyed walking on the city walls in the rain. I wish we could have stayed longer! Accommodations were attractive and comfortable, the hostess was very flexible with our arrival time and breakfast was excellent. We forgot our rain jackets, emailed from our next destination and they were waiting for us when we arrived home in America. Best service we received during our trip!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Bryn and their owners, Alison and Nick. My husband and I and another couple stayed here for 2 days in August and it was a perfect place from which to explore Wales. Alison accommodated my gluten-free dietary needs in a spectacular way and I am still dreaming about the GF Welsh cakes she served at breakfast. AND she even gave me a packet to take away!!! This home is lovely and the rooms are very comfortable and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Conwy. Alison and Nick also provided personalized attention and helped us find our way to Llandudno to see a Welsh men's choir one evening. I hope we can return someday to enjoy their tremendous hospitality again!!!

The room was very nice with many extra amenities that we have not experienced elsewhere (like a real coffee maker versus a hot water pot and instant coffee). The location couldn't be better. The breakfast is fantastic. But as other folks have said, it is the owners who make the Bryn Guest House a special place to stay. You can tell that Alison has operated this property with care and class for several years. When she unexpectedly had to have an operation that would cause her to be physically unable to continue, she could have easily informed her patrons that she would not be able to accommodate them. We are very thankful she did not do that. Her husband, Nick, took leave from his job and with help from a family friend, they continued to run the Bryn Guest House at it's usual high standard with Alison performing in an advisory role. It impressed us to no end how this all seemed to happen seamlessly. And we think it serves to illustrate how seriously the Archards take the care and feeding of their guests.

We loved Conwy and our stay at the Bryn Guest House and Nick, you did a great job on those breakfasts. Thank you!
