Good location to visit this small Welsh village.
All rooms are up a long flight of stairs
There is a small pub which the locals love but the noise was never an issue
Cooked to order breakfast was great and so was our host Josie
If you want to relax in a small village this is the place

Room Tip: All rooms are a climb up stairs

I stayed here last Satrday, and was impressed by the friendly staff, the state of the room, very clean everything worked, also very quiet, and an excellent breakfast, for a very reasonable price,
hotel is well placed for touring, i was using the railway so the hotel is in excellent position

Stayed with another couple for 3 nights (Mon to Wed). Can honestly say I really enjoyed this place - the staff (all of them) from the moment we arrived were really friendly and welcoming. The owner is a lovely person. Breakfast was fab and we also ate in the evening twice and all enjoyed the food. Rooms are small and basic but very clean - the bathrooms have all been modernised and have shower cubicles (no baths in any rooms). I'm not going to nit pick at all (if you have any specific question about the facilities feel free to PM me), you get good value for the price you pay but the staff make the place (particularly Alison) and should be proud of themselves. I have stayed in some very expensive hotels I wouldn't go back to but we will definitely come back here.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have a nicer view but the road is outside so have a bit more noise pollution.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Bridge End Hotel, having taken advantage of a 'buy one night get another half price' offer. I have to say even at the full price - £60 per night for a double room including full Welsh breakfast - this would have been great value! The hotel is spotless, the bed is comfy, there are quality tea/coffee making products and even small selection of toiletries provided. The breakfast was freshly cooked and plenty of it. We also had an evening meal at the hotel which again was plentiful and good value. All in all I would definitely recommend the Bridge End - we hope to return again soon.

If its a quiet little break your after ,then this is perfect for you.A great surrounding of hillside views small cottages and the river just flowing through the village.Me and my wife were taken in by all this which made the weekend so special , we arrived there on friday 22 feb and went home on the sunday. The staff are great and friendly and the proprietor JOSIE is such a down to earth lady who made us feel welcome from the start. The rooms are very clean and tidy, and at morning you were greeted with the smell of the disinfectant. We ate there also and the food on the menu was truly satisfying as well as the full english breakfast which i have to say,is the best ever.I would highly recommend this to anybody.

Room Tip: if you are going as a couple, then a river view on the front of hotel is ideal overlooking the villa...

This hotel cancelled our confirmed booking, for which they had accepted a deposit. We had booked in early November for the week of the choir festival - July- knowing that accommodation would not be easy to get if we did not book early. They cancelled the booking after holding the deposit for 10 weeks, giving 'administrative error' as their excuse.
Under the terms of my booking contract, if they cancelled the booking they should have offered me alternative accommodation. All they did was give a list of hotels and phone numbers by e mail.None of the hotels had available accommodation in my price range,

It does not seem possible to submit this review without saying when I stayed. I did not stay. My booking was cancelled, but I have selected a month.
